They promote being all about sleep, but fail to mention how noisy it is. You can hear every single train from the tube. You can also hear other toilets flushing, faucets turning on, and water going through the pipes. The provided ear plugs because I’m assuming they’ve had complaints in the past.

There is only one lift for the whole hotel and it’s 5 floors underground. In the morning you have maybe 10-15 people waiting to use the same lift, so the wait is too long.

Requested a pillow as there wasn't one on the bed and was told someone would bring one. Waited around 40 minutes before we had to go out to our booked event and when we returned at midnight there was still no pillow. Went to reception to check and was told someone tried to deliver one but I wasn’t there, but I had waited 40 minutes already. Was told he would get it now, so returned to my room and waited another hour before going back to reception to ask again (1 am by this point) to which he saw me and said ‘I’ll just grab it for you now’. We were then not able to sleep because the trains were so loud they rattled the room.. this explains why they left ear plugs but we tried to wear them and they just fell out. We ended up checking out much earlier than planned because we were disappointed with the stay.

Location is excellent! The hotel provides what it advertises and staff are friendly and helpful. I was looking for an inexpensive, centrally located safe place to sleep, shower and use as a base. This hotel wall all of those.

Staff were very hands off. Staff there encouraged me to use the iPad at reception (which is fine!) but I like a bit more human interaction during check in. Also my room was hard to find.

The toilet flush is like an airplane due to it being underground. It’s super noisy at night!

Despite the description saying sound proof rooms, it was quite noisy. I should have known when I saw the ear plugs on the bed on my arrival. The rooms sound as though they are literally wedged between 2 underground lines (they maybe actually are).

What was the worst was the constantly riding the subway - every 3-4 minutes you heard sound from the subway - underground. Only at late night (after midnight) was quite but only until very soon morning. We have read on the hotel's information page state that in your rooms we can find undisturbed peace and rest from the busy streets of London, but nowhere do you state that every 3 to 4 min. will ride a subway. At the same time, it is not stated on the website, and it is not even obvious from the photos, that we have nowhere (no place for) to put our suitcase/luggage and unload personal belongings from the suitcase. This option seriously interfered with the space where we could move and at the same time maintain personal comfort and the ability to handle personal belongings. Last but not least thing was that air condition was cooling only .. when we wanted to heat, it was not possible only switch off.

Hotel clean and tidy, absolutely perfect position, personal very nice and helpful but it is all what they offer. With this price we expected more.
