Zoo Cottage was lovely, well decorated, equipped and had comfy beds. Would definitely recommend. I enjoyed having my morning coffee in the garden in the sunshine before heading out for a day in beautiful Chester.

This property is all about the location it's brilliant, 10 minutes drive to Chester town centre or to cheshire oaks, 2 minutes to Chester zoo and 10 minutes walk to a nice friendly pub with good food .great base to go exploring from. Would definitely consider using again if staying in and around cheshire. Host is super easy to get hold of and answers any questions very quickly.

Being told to be quiet before I got there and it being reiterated in the documents left in the house. I get that some guests in the past may have been an issue but not all of us are inconsiderate. We were looking for a quiet place to use as a base while we visited attractions. The next door neighbours were loud. We are quiet anyway. Just tone that down a touch and would be perfect. In closing I would stay again the house and the garden was lovely. Just didn’t like the tone of quiet.

Loved the property. Ideal for visiting the zoo. And various attractions in the near by area. The house was peaceful and very well kept. Great kitchen to cook and lovely dining room to eat in.

A very good location. Very close to the Chester Zoo, to the City and to a good Indian Restaurant and other amenities. The property is so cosy, very clean and comfortable. A really pleasant stay and is highly recommended to those who are looking for a practical, convenient and comfortable property. The owners are superb and very accommodating. Excellent communication. A big thank you🙏.

Nothing to report here! Everything we needed was supplied in the property. There was even added touches, such as low level lighting in the bathrooms and on the landing which was great in the evening.

We had a fantastic stay at Zoo Cottage. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 Children and the accommodation was perfect for our needs. We wanted to be close enough to get into the Centre and far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. We also had to pick my son up from Chester main station and this was just a few minutes drive away. Chirs is a pleasant host who was very attentive.

The inside of the house was decorated lovely and was nice and warm. As its winter did not venture into the garden :). No hassle gaining entrance and is located really close to Chester Zoo

Steep stairs. ( Perhaps need to mention that in house description,very difficult for elderly people). Couldn’t work out how to operate the shower.

Lovely clean well equipped house. Bottle of Prosecco to welcome. Plenty of information about the house and in welcome folder. Clean comfortable beds and towels.

The cottage was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. I loved sitting in the garden early in the evening under the pergola, excellent location, and easy access to all local attractions. Highly recommend staying 👌

Zoo cottage was everything and more than we expected. The house was beautiful and all recently renovated to a high standard. It was much bigger than we expected too. The proprietor was very attentive and checked in to ensure we had everything we required and was also on hand when needed.

We tend to use more pillows ,so we were a little short ,but for most people it would be ample as there was 2 extra ,we could have used a couple more . If there for a week a bigger fridge . That's all nothing much .

We were all together and it had a loverly garden . The house had everything we needed .
