Our room was amazing and huge with a jacuzzi bath, the staff were lovely, and it was in a great spot - an excellent place to stay if you want a bit of luxury while visiting Florence!

The only thing was the shower, which was in the bathtub (I have limited mobility in one leg, so getting out of a wet tub is difficult).

Occasionally the American tv channels would freeze & buffer but it was nice to have BBC, CNN fast, ABC, NBC. This hotel went out of their way to have a ½ gallon of distilled water available on arrival for husbands cpap machine.

We enjoyed the staff; helpful anytime of day. The occasional happy hours were a nice touch.

Well, I am American so I would have liked to have a wash cloth!

I arrived at the hotel around 11am and liked that they checked me in right away. It is a short walk from the train station on a small street. Since my room faced the street I thought it would be noisy, not at all, very quiet at night.

Location (5 min walk from train station, within 10-15 for all other major sites). Many little restaurants around. Very clean. Lovely breakfast. The only drawback is that my room was very small. But comfortable twin bed and good linens and towels.

The host who did check-in was not very friendly. He was not rude though

The room was nice with some authentic ambiance from the past time. The furniture does not look old, though. Everything is quite well organized. Very clean bathroom. Silent rooms. Breakfast is fine, although the was no big choice of the principal meals.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and a wonderful room that accommodated three adults. Large bathroom was great! Very close to sites and the Monti district is a fun, safe area but still close to train.

While the location was very central to shopping, and museums the street it was on was very busy.

This property was easy to find, and within walking distance of the Duomo and the Uffizi museum as well as the Mercado Central. The room was set up nicely for 3 people, very clean and my sister had her own small suite upstairs. They served a nice breakfast every morning which was also a bonus. Overall a very nice place to stay.

I can't think of anything that could have been improved as we really enjoyed our stay!

Our room was big enough for myself and my husband. The ensuite was lovely, only minor problem was that the shower tended to flood the bathroom however as we were provided with a large number of twoels it was never a problem. The TV didn't have any English speaking channels again not a problem for us though it did have Netflix. Breakfast was suberb with a choice of any type of coffee you wanted, plentiful and kept permanently well stocked. The lady on breakfast duty was charming and always very helpful. The location was great as not too far from the train and tram stations and a 20 minute walk to most of the major attractions. There was a free cocktail (Happy Hour) on one of the evenings with nibbles and finger food.

Amazing place!! Very clean, amazing breakfast, excellent room and bedroom, all clean and working very well, excellent bathroom. Silent at night, very well located. And it has a beautiful breakfast backyard. Excellent!!!

Excellent location - 3 min walk from SMN train station, < 10 min from Duomo. Our initial room was facing a busy street and it was noisy at night. The staff graciously moved us into a room facing the courtyard

Staff at front desk could have been more helpful with recommendations for restaurants, general questions. The towel heaters didn't work.

The breakfast was what I expected based on the reviews I read when I was booking. The staff at breakfast were great and thee assortment and quality offered was good.

Trash collection trucks were noisy at early morning.

Close to the center of the old city, tram stops and the train station. Good breakfast. Very friendly atmosphere.
