My only suggestion would be to have a coffee/tea station in the guest area. This facility wasn’t provided in the room but it would be nice to be able to make your own hot drink early morning or later in the day. As we didn’t speak Italian we were unsure if we could have in fact asked for this at the bar.

Our stay in Giglio met our expectations. It’s a popular destination for Italian holiday makers so it’s not or wasn’t over run with tourists like ourselves. The town looked pretty from the ferry. The hotel staff were great at keeping in touch with us regarding our arrival time and where to find the hotel shuttle. The hotel is situated about seven minutes up and over the hill from the port so it was necessary to make use of the shuttle when we needed to get to town. The staff in all areas were friendly and helpful especially the drivers of the shuttle. They assisted us a few times to locate the right bus or a taxi. The hotel itself has a wonderful view out to sea and from the little beach you can look back up at the hilltop village. The breakfast was great, plenty of variety, even muesli. We dined twice in the terrace and enjoyed what was on offer. The staff in the restaurant were kind, helpful and efficient.

Amazing place. Breakfast is served on a terrace overlooking the sea. The beach is 5 minute walking. The restaurant L'Aroma is mind blowing. Staff is friendly and helpful. Giglio Porto town is a short drive. You can find restaurants, shops, cafes.

The Mattress was soft but a bit old, maybe i would just put a thin top mattress on top and that would be perfect.

Close to the best Giglio’s beach (5 minutes walking), free shuttle to the Porto Giglio, well cleaned hotel and really nice personnel. On top of that you have a really good restaurant with fresh fish dishes made by a chef. I really recommend this place!

Bed and pillows hard and uncomfortable. Need an inroom coffee maker or earlier start time in reception area for at least a cup of coffee. 8 am is way to late for us early risers!

Great staff and clean facilities. On-site restaurant fantastic (best food that we had on the island). Gabrielle doing a fantastic job. Even helped us organize a special birthday surprise for our friend. Shuttle service and driver were fantastic.

a bit far from the port, but like the shuttle bus takes care of that issue. They were very accommodating! the pillows were too hard.

Be prepared for steps as the hotel is tiered down the hill, wonderful views but steps. Very firm pillows but that's Italy!

Wonderfully, modern hotel with a variety of rooms all with fabulous views of the coast and beach. Our room was spacious, very clean with a large balcony. The common areas were delightful with cool jazz playing, wonderful restaurant and comfortable outdoor areas to sit with friends. Bar was always available with helpful friendly staff. The hotel provided a free shuttle service down to the port which was necessary as we were a fair way out of town. A wonderful stay we would highly recommend this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, special thanks to Gabrielle for looking after us so well. The restaurant is number 2 on trip advisor, should be no 1. Excellent food and wines. Great buffet breakfast with many choices sweet and savory.

Nice hotel with a stunning view. Perfect for couples and for people that want to relax. Transfer bus to go to Giglio Porto available all the day upon reservation.

No water in the room for showering in the evening and in the morning. A bit uncomfortable after the full day at the beach. Some stuff personal act too fake to the customers, you can feel it.

The room was very underwhelming. Noisy at night due to tables and chairs being dragged in the restaurant above, The room was very plain, partial sea view was virtually non existent, space limited and very small shower, definitely not worth the money for this room. I have not been able to find a picture of this room in the booking.com site (approx 100 photos) so I was not expecting it to look like this. All the other rooms seem to have pictures on the walls and appear light and airy with decent size showers. C1, by contrast is small and dingy. It also had twin beds rather than the double bed that I had requested. I would not recommend this room at the price paid and we were disappointed,

Structure to be modernized. Bathroom Room with strong and persistent smell of stagnant water. Isola del Giglio is beautiful but associating it with the smell of the bathroom drain is not a good memory.
