How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Nothing , all was good
This is the second time i stayed in Hotel Flora. It's location is deal as it's near the Central train station and Metro. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is good. Staff is friendly. I will surely stay again in Hotel Flora when I'm back in Milan.

The single room was rather small.
Hotel is located very close to Milano Centrale railway station and metro stop, which makes it very easy to get around. It has a very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very decent, but could expand more on vegetables.

All the other reviews talk about the great breakfast.. No one mentioned anything to me about breakfast so I assumed there was none. The man who checked me in wasn't very friendly.
the room and bathroom were both very small, but all I did was sleep and shower so I guess it was ok.

Value for money was excellent so no great luxury but that wasn't why I chose that hotel.
Excellent location close to the main rail station (but not too close). Staff were very friendly and it was a great base from which to discover the city as it was very close to main travel links but also walkable if you have a bit more time to get around. Nice restaurant opposite too. Good value for money.

Minor thing, but my single room was very warm, despite cool spring weather. That, the firm foam mattress and some very late carousing in the street outside conspired against a decent night’s sleep.
Close to the station and easy to find, great for rail travel but not too far from the historic centre. Great breakfast. Easy check in and helpful, professional desk staff who spoke enough English. A useful lift and clean, bright public areas which have been recently decorated.

Room was small but fine for one. Could hear neighboring occupants.
90 euros for a weekend night for single bedroom was a bargain. Loads of hotels in same area. 5 mins walk from train station.

The plug socket must be too narrow to fit into the socket outlet. There is a fridge but no kettle.
Very clean hotel with excellent location near the central station and amazing breakfast.

It advertises air conditioning, But, they have it turned off so they recommend opening a window. Then you get mosquitos waking you up with their Serenatas in your ear. They will turn it on at the end of May, false advertising. And Booking should request that all properties clearly state the air conditioning rules, need your help on this
The location was excellent, almost across the street from the train station and busses to the airport. It was clean

You can hear the other room.
The location is good, near the train station The staff are polite. The room is clean, but to much noise and you can hear the other room. The breakfast is very good, this is the best thing in the hotel.

One small pillow on the bed that offers no comfort. Uncomfortable and ridiculously small single bed. Basic and expensive for what it is.

I had a single room and the bed was very small. The bedsheet and the towels were dirty. I couldn’t sleep very well because was too noisy. You can listen everything from the other rooms and outside. In my check out they charged me extra 4,50€ per night for city taxes but when I did the reservation in booking it was with all taxes included so I don’t know if they charged me more.
Location is great, is near the central Milano station which connect with city centre, airport and everything. Good friendly staff.

The room could have been a bit bigger; so also the shower cubicle.
Location was great; very close to the Central Station. Breakfast was good though it had too many sweet things, not enough savouries.
