How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Little bit noisy outside but nothing they can do about that
Location was perfect, hotel was clean and staff were great, never had the breakfast so can’t comment on that but all in all it was a good hotel to stay at

They do not have a separate room for the luggage and we had to leave our bags in the sitting area which is away from the reception. I thought this might be a little unsafe and had to keep my passport with me walking in town. But all was ok. It is about 30 min walk to the Pisa tower but only a short walk from the train station which was exactly what we needed. Men in the reception area could be more polite.
It was great for 1 night stay to visit Pisa tower. Close to the train station and the airport. Good place to start or to end your trip in Italy taking trains to different directions. Our room was large and clean, breakfast was good and girl in there was very helpful.

During peak hours, i.e. early evening, the bandwidth of the WiFi network is clearly insufficient. The hotel should solve this issue.
Within the range of 3-star hotels in the historic area of Italian cities, this is an excellent hotel. Contrary to the notes of other guests, except for WiFi, I don't find anything negative with significance. Things like lack of sympathy or bad atmosphere in the area (because of black people?) are absurd.

The hotel is really close to the station, ideal for travelling to Lucca, Cinque Terre or other places, and also for the airport. Staff were friendly, the room was clean and the breakfasts were very tasty :-)

It didn't have a kettle and wasn't given hot water when asked to make tea on my own.
It was very convinent as located super close to Pisa train station.

Room design could have been a little better as no place really to lay your cases down. Hard to get a taxi unless pre-booked. Some of the nearby shops looked a little run down, but as soon as you get into the large oval area it changes greatly.
Close to the station and not far from the airport. Very easy to walk to all the main sites in Pisa. Also plenty eating places around. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Needs a face lift, not attractive from outside, or even inside very drab but it’s a short break holiday stay so will suffice.
Close to the station for travelling to Florence, Lucca and Cinque Terre. Close to the bus going to Centre. Good breakfast, very clean, lovely hard working staff. Ate locally without having to go direct to centre in the evenings.

A comfy, very clean, twin room with good bathroom. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Th hotel is close for the train station and only 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of Pisa.

The single bed was a bit narrow although maybe I need a diet . I slept well anyway ,
The room was grand good size had everything I needed. Spotless clean. I did not have breakfast as I had an early train to catch. Five minutes from the railway station by foot and a shuttle train from the station gets you into the airport in five minutes.

There wasn’t really anything negative to say about the hotel apart from it was a little dated.
It was really close to the station so handy for trains to other locations and for the airport. The room was spotlessly clean and the continental breakfast really tasty. Staff were friendly.
