From the balcony at our room - very scenic. The beds were comfortable., shower was amazing, breakfast buffet had such good food, shuttle so convenient, the owner was so knowledgeable and very kind.

The bed was not comfortable at all , I think the mattress has to be replaced , the water temperature while you are taking a shower at times fluctuates , it gets very hot and it gets cold without touching the handle

The hotel is small and cozy, the staff is excellent, the breakfast was very good as well as the hotel restaurant , despite the fact they are way out of the city center they provide you with an hourly transportation which is a plus

Everything! The location was beautiful & quiet. They provide a shuttle bus to Sorrento Centro. The staff were so helpful. They can arrange your tour - pick up from the hotel. So easy for us staying there. Gianni was efficient & wick in response to questions online. Dino was on the front desk and was just as helpful. You must eat at the restaurant! The food was lovely and reasonably priced too. Breakfast was a generous buffet.

The hotel and staff were fantastic. Great location with spectacular views in all directions. The rooms were very clean , simple but very comfortable with an amazing bathroom and a lovely balcony. We ate in the hotel each evening and the food was very nice and reasonably priced. Fridge /Mini bar, Tea /Coffee making facilities and safe in room. The hotel had a FREE Courtesy bus which ran regularly throughout the day so quick and easy to get into Sorrento centre for shopping, trips and onward journeys. Perfect location.

Not enough towel rails and small things like more space for clothes for Longer stay guests.

Family owned charming. Home cooked food and great views. The shuttle was wonderful to be able to get to town and back. Dino was so helpful and so was Gianni and his sister that they made us feel welcome. We will come Back.

The bathrooms need a little restauration. They are big and clean, but a little bit dated.

Big rooms, nice view. The hotel is a pleasant surprise. Good value for money. There is a free shutle bus to city center Sorrento. There is also a great restaurant.

From the main road/car park level, there is a fairly steep drop down to the hotel reception. If you are not able to move easily or have a disability, that could be an issue getting up and down that. If you have a car, you can drop off at the hotel reception and then move the car back up to the car park.

This hotel is very clean and in a great higher position that enables great views across the Gulf of Naples towards Mount Vesuvius, Napoli and the Islands of Capri, Ischia & Procida. The owner (Dino) is a very nice and pleasant host and nothing is too much much trouble for him. One time, the joint hotel bus that takes you down to Sorrento and back, didn't turn up. No problem as Dino noticed us all stood at the bus stop and he took us down to Sorrento in his van instead. The hotel restaurant has some nice food choices and comes out well cooked and tasty. You can eat in the immaculate restaurant or out on the balcony which gives the great views that I mentioned. The breakfast choice every morning is brilliant and I don't think I've ever eaten that much at that time of the day before and this coming from a vegetarian. The rest of the hotel is very clean, including the rooms. My wife and I loved the tiling in the spacious bathroom. You can book day tours out to Capri, Amalfi & Positano at the hotel reception. Included in the price is pick-up and drop-off at this hotel. Well recommended and we did two days of this. If you take a car, there is free car parking on the roof of this hotel. We hired a car in Naples and drove from there to here, but you really don't need to as this hotel provides an hourly shuttle down to Sorrento and back. You can also use the local bus that runs up and down this road, but you have to pay a small amount for that. Enjoy your stay here. When we go back to the Amalfi Coast, we will book here again!

Unable to walk to the town from the location no local store.

The owner Dina was extremely helpful and knowledgeable nothing was too much trouble, thank you. The meals were very nice. Beautiful view of the sea and lovely sunset.

We just regret we couldn't stay longer.

The hotel is beautifully located in Priora, a few minutes away from Sorrento. There is a shuttle bus that takes you from the hotel to downtown Sorrento and back, that runs all day which is very convenient to avoid driving in the winding roads of the surroundings. My wife and me loved that. There is good free parking in the place which was excellent as we arrived by car. The breakfast is excellent (the best orange juice you can get....from fresh oranges), from scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon to delicious pastry and fruits. You can have dinner as well for a very reasonable price...and the menu was very good. The restaurant where you have breakfast and dinner has a spectacular view to the Naples' gulf. The room we got was very clean and comfortable, with excellent wifi...and there is a laundry room well equipped that we used to wash and dry (5 euros each). The people at the hotel were incredibly friendly....with a special mention to Dino. He was always there to clear all doubts and give expert advice about what to do in Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. We appreciated very much his warm help. Grazie mile Dino!

The view over Sorrento and the Bay of Naples was spectacular. The free bus shuttle service to Sorrento and back was excellent. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nothing we didn't like.

We had a fabulous stay at Il Nido. The Hotel is family run and has a traditional rustic charm. Very clean and very grear service. The views of the bay from the hotel are stunning - if you stay in the centre of Sorrento you will miss out on this view and with the excellent shuttle bus service we much preferred the location of Il Nido. Thank you Dino and all of the staff.
