This hotel was well situated to the train station from the airport, in a quiet neighborhood not in the heart of the tourist areas but easy walkable. Our room had a balcony which was great for sitting out in the morning and evenings.

The hotel is pretty old-school, and that may not suit everyone. For example, the rooms had an actual door key that had to be left with reception when you were out and collected on the way back in. The rooms themselves, while clean and comfortable, were tired and in need of a refresh. The door to our balcony had a very loose handle that we avoided using for fear of damaging it further. The hotel mostly attracts an older clientele. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it meant that upon arriving for breakfast, a staff member insisted on explaining the breakfast buffet set up to us before we were seated. This wasn't needed, and was honestly a bit odd.

The hotel is located in a quiet, upscale suburban neighbourhood with nice eateries and parks nearby. It was a short walk to a few different attractions like museums and art galleries, and a slightly longer (but still very manageable) walk to the city centre. We travelled by train, so had to take a taxi to the hotel, but would definitely stay in or around this area of Milan again. Staff at reception were friendly, efficient and quick to offer us coffee/tea if we were waiting in the lobby for any reason. Our room was clean and comfortable, and had windows that actually opened (I always prefer this if possible). The breakfast buffet had a good selection and staff made sure it was kept well stocked.

Excellent hotel for its category. Location, staff, cleanliness, comfort WiFi and value vs costs are Excellent. I didn’t face any problems finding a car parking spot in the public parking near the hotel.

The location was a nice 30 min walk to the centre of Milan which bypasses a large park, the big arch (Arco della Pace), and the Sforzesco Palace which wasn't at all a negative for us however if you prefer to be closer to the action or don't like walking, it may be.

What a lovely little hotel. The room was very comfortable with a big shower. The breakfast was included in the rate which was fantastic, but the standout of the premises were the staff, they were very well spoken in English, very friendly and super helpful. Oh, and there was a quiet, classy 24-hour bar in the lobby too.

The hotel was a smaller hotel in a quieter area but still close to everything we wanted to see.

Staff were very friendly helped us with directions to the city’s sites and booking our train reservations. Breakfasts were also good.

Lancaster has wonderful location and a delightful, friendly, helpful staff. It is clean and bright. We’d recommend this property to anyone staying in Milano! Breakfast was delicious!

Breakfast was a great selection and the service was excellent. Staff were very attentive at breakfast. Reception staff were also helpful. The room was very clean and a good size. Location was quite but easy to walk into the city centre.

Like all of Milan during Milan Design Week ( avoid visiting Milan during this week if you are not going for it). The rates were much higher than normal . Understandably so but I’d definitely go back during the rest of the year . Normally it’s very reasonable for the type of hotel . Breakfast is very nice .

Charming staff…. Very helpful . The rooms are on the small side but comfortable. Location is slightly removed but in a nice residential area with trolley, metro not far .

Location was terrific - we like to walk and it was lovely to be in a neighborhood (especially for the 3 restaurants that we went to); the staff all were very friendly and helpful; our room was large and comfortable; and being close to the tram line (10, especially) was great for riding to the canal district.

We booked the standard room and the only negative was the tiny room with sink and toilet which were opposite one another and very cramped. The shower was off the bedroom which was not a problem. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom had space to move around so for a couple of nights was OK. For longer stays I would upgrade.

The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. The location was very good for walking into centre and Duomo. Good resteraunts and bars close by.
