The staff was very friendly, especially Tony 😁 our daughter Clara loved him😁 the breakfast vas very good, from my point of view they can have more types of food, it’s not so various. The view is stunning, you can see the city Sorrento. Definitely worth the hotel for the view. The room was nice, we have balcony right in front and we can see the view better. It have free transportation from the hotel to the centre of Sorrento. We like that. So yeah, everything was very good.

Distance to town.

Shuttle worked well. Property has amazing views of the city of Sorento but is also difficult to access. The shuttle is an excellent solution. Pool is great. Beds and pillows are super comfy. Shower is excellent. Staff are very helpful.

Some elements of the cooked breakfast. Plus a small design flaw with the shower, the release valve for the hand shower was directly behind the turn lever for the overhead shower and if you didn't turn the shower lever to one side to make sure the 2 way valve was pulled out fully, you get a direct cold blast on your torso from the hand shower which was positioned into the center not yet warmed up!

Standard of the room was excellent , bed and room was comfortable and very clean. The views from the hotel were amazing- the payback for this was that the hotel was up on a hill but there was a regular shuttle service provided. As it was a special anniversary trip we were given one ( if not the) best rooms in the hotel so thankyou to the staff. Tarek gets a special mention for his polite attentiveness. I also liked the retro charm of the hotel , far removed from the bland, corporate decor I'm used to seeing, with some lovely old oil painting depicting the local life and history of the area A great stay - thank you, Vue D'or!

There could have been a couple more luggage racks placed in room so suitcases weren't always on the floor having to bend down and pick out clothes. A box of tissues in the room is a must. I asked at the front desk and the man has no idea what I was talking about. He ended up giving me an open travel pack. Maybe getting a free welcome bottle of water would have been nice that we could keep refilling instead of being charged €3 for one. The shuttle was great but ALWAYS late on the pick up downtown.

The staff was good. The gentleman in the breakfast room (don't know his name) was so happy and greeting each morning! The room was a good size. They were clean and we had a great view. The breakfast was great each morning. I loved that we had a free shuttle running into and back from town every hour. Otherwise I have no idea how we would have gotten around from high up on the hill. Very clean hotel and wonderful breakfast. Room was always ready when we got back to it.

Best views over the city and ocean. Had a beautiful view of Mount Vesuvius. The shuttle bus was free to and from the hotel and was so easy and ran frequently.

The restaurant and bar was quite expensive, which given its location offering a lack of other options isn’t surprising. That said, most places in Sorrento were expensive to eat out, so the mark up wasn’t unreasonable but overall felt expensive.

A beautiful hotel with stunning views of the bay. The hotel is located about 15/20 mins drive into the mountains from Sorrento town centre but the free shuttle bus and the local bus made it easy to get into town and to explore the region. It’s location was perfect for a relaxing stay. The room was clean, tidy and had all of the expected amenities, and looked better than in the images we’d see online. We had a sea view balcony room, and the view was incredible. The pool area wasn’t massive but when we were staying was always relatively quiet. The snack bar during the day offered a good lunch menu. The staff were all very friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay we excellent.

The property is pristine however, the location is quite remote. No opportunity to take a stroll near the hotel. On a good note, the shuttle is free and available every hour in front of the hotel. It will take you to the city center. Overall, lovely.

It would be nice to have the option of a coffee and tea tray in the room.

The view from our hotel room was fabulous as it was from the outside terraces. The breakfast choices were very good and the staff are excellent. Vincenzo at the lobby bar was fabulous, always happy and helpful as were the hotels reception staff. The hotel runs a free shuttle service into Sorrento and back, its reliable and it runs until late in the evening.

Wifi was not very good and there could have been more variety at the breakfast. Some noise came from the other rooms.

There was a great view from the hotel. Also the short cut stairs to Sorrento was very practical, and it was a very nice walk. We did not use the shuttle at all, which also was available. Personnel at the hotel was very helpful and friendly.

There isn’t one single thing that is wrong with this vacation spot. Amazing location, staff, food, rooms, pool etc . I will definitely return !! Tony in the dining room is fantastico !!

There is no hanger to hang the clothes in the room, the wardrobe without compartments to be able to arrange the clothes, the furniture in the room a little worn, likewise in the bathroom the sink was cracked, the weak light from the bathroom to the mirror a little weak.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, typical Italian breakfast, very nice view from the hotel over Sorento, Vesuvius.

The pillows were slightly uncomfortable, but they brought thinner pillows when requested. Found it strange that there was no duvet cover, but a sheet under the duvet instead. Breakfast wasn't the best, we went in April, maybe it was out of season, and we didn't like the coffee from the machine. However they were happy to make us omlettes when I requested and those were tasty! They were also happy to make us coffees at the bar!

Amazing view, nice hotel, wonderful friendly staff that were always happy to help, responded to our requests gave us so much valuable advice about travelling to Amalfie, Capri, public transport, really well informed! We felt welcome! We also got an upgrade for a sea view room, what a stunning view, I wish we stayed longer! Even spotted a donkey in one of the gardens next to the hotel, our kids were delighted! The waiter in the restaurant is very entertaining and made me laugh! The shuttle bus to Sorrento is regular, every one hour, and is a very wonderful trip full of views over Sorrento!

Breakfast was great, cold meats, pastries as well as the usual eggs, beans and sausages. Good selection of different coffees from machines, good drinks selection and friendly and attentive staff.
