Close to good restaurants and easy to park car

We have no issues with our stay, thoroughly enjoyed.

Very pleased with our one night stay, staff were excellent both at the check in and check out plus at breakfast time. We were given great directions to the town centre and the old town. A very easy walk to and from the train station

The hotel is in easy walking distance to/from the train station and the ferry port. Our room was basic but comfortable, with a view over the park opposite and towards the port area and major sites such as the clock tower and Cathedral. Breakfast mainly consisted of sweet foods, with some savoury choices. The staff were attentive and kindly provided a breakfast package on our last day as we had to check-out early. They also provided a kettle for our room at our request. The hotel is close to many cafes and restaurants and the major cultural sites are also in easy walking distance.

The beds were very comfortable, the position close to the train station was great and we even got a Cappuccini delivered to our room (There was no tea and coffee making facilities)

Breakfast could have been better - scrambled eggs were cold and large tomatoes were presented whole. Savoury items were very limited.

The property was our choice because of the private garage offered - parking is quite a problem in Messina so this point is very important. The room was very comfortable indeed.

The TV in the room was tiny. There was no way you could watch TV from your bed, not that I watch a great deal of Italian TV when I on my travels. The safe in the room was also tiny, maybe room for your passport, wallet and small change, absolutely not big enough for a tablet or a laptop. It was the only hotel on my travels that did not have a kettle and coffee making facilities.

The room was large. It was clean. The bathroom was spacious. There was plenty of storage space. The view from my room was excellent. The staff at breakfast were courteous and helpful. I was able to store my bags for a few hours whilst I waited for my train

How well the manager handled the confusion about our room that supposed to have 2 queen beds but didn't. We ended up with 2 rooms. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and so were the beds. Location was great.

The rooms was a little outdated but still good for one night.

The location was pretty good, walking distance to the Cathedral and restaurants, nice view of the city from the 5th floor and also a rich and delicious breakfast with many options, including cannoli that you can prepare on the spot.

Madly busy at breakfast time and rather noisy breakfast room (good breakfast though). Only water available to drink in room.

Very comfortable bed and nice room. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Convenient for the station. Pleasant to sit around in and easy to leave luggage. Also a quick walk to the Duomo and older town.

It is an old fashioned hotel but everything worked well.

I arrived a little early and the room was still ready. Breakfast was quite good. Twelve check out was easy.

The hotel is close to the ferry port at Messina and a ideal place to stay. There is a secure underground carpark and the staff were friendly. The bar was nice and the breakfast delicious with a wide variety of food.
