The property was excellent, facilities, room, staff, and location were all great. The hotel is located in walking distance to a number of the main attractions. The breakfast was great, and we used it each morning. Staff were very helpful, and the room was cleaned every day. We would highly recommend the hotel when visiting Lucca.

Location, style and decor, scent, friendly staff who were flexible to support my requests. Breakfast finishes a little early at 9:30 if you want to go run the wall before shower and breakfast. But the team were happy to put a tray in my room which worked perfectly fine for me.

Elegant, comfortable, and well located. As you step into the street, you hear beautiful snippets of classical music from the Luigi Boccherini Conservatory of Music adjacent to the hotel. A wonderful base for exploring this jewel of a city. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We paid for an “upgrade” from a standard room to a Junior Suite - only to find our room was not large enough to even open two suitcases without having to re-purpose the dresser to accommodate date one of them - ie FAR from the space one would expect from a “Junior Suite”. When we brought this up the front desk insisted we had indeed been given an upgraded room . . .

Located centrally within the walled city, the location was excellent for exploring Lucca. Hotel tastefully decorated and furnished. Hotel staff helpful and informative and made excellent recommendations as regards restaurants. Excellent breakfast.

If there was events nearby, it could be difficult to drive to the hotel parking area. And it was troublesome to find parking place nearby.

It is a nice building, and the staying was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the staff was attentive.

We got a recommendation for a restaurant and it was the only meal we were disappointed with the whole time we were in Lucca.

The hotel is quite beautiful. We loved our room, it felt very elegant. We had a view of the street below and the church next door but there really was no noise. The breakfast was good. I really enjoyed the excellent breads. It wasn't huge assortment but it was good. We stopped in the restaurant for a Limoncello in the evening and it was really nice. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked good.

Excellent, convenient location to walk around in Lucca. Excellent, friendly, accommodating staff, made us feel welcome. Breakfast was not included. We paid for breakfast on our first (out of the two) days we stayed there. It was very good, but could be improved in terms of choice.

Could be a problem with noise for some people later at night. The outside restaurant is very popular and open to non residents,this is on one side of the building, on the other side of the building the kitchen staff "hang" around outside shouting when finished work. However, all noise stopped by midnight.

Small hotel in a good central location. Rooms have been updated with stylish, modern & quality fittings. The same for the public area's, very good quality. Continental breakfast. Staff very helpful.

Almost impossible to get your car to the hotel. We had to call the manager to come and get us. The streets were very narrow and one way etc. Google Maps was totally useless as some streets were closed and could not find us another route to travel, The manager was amazing and came as soon as we called. The problem is if you take a car there with the intent to take your car out for road trips, it isn’t really a good idea. We had to stay in the area and leave our car where it was parked. Our recommendation is park outside the walled city and take a taxi to the hotel.

It's in the middle of a historic Italian city centre so don't expect it to be overly quiet early in the morning.

The discreet nature of the hotel. It looks very understated from the outside but inside it's very clean and comfortable with air conditioning, lifts and nice high ceilings. The breakfast staff didn't need to be told what I wanted to drink after the first day. I should also point out that the cappuccinos were made by a person, not a machine.
