Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesHotel is very close to train station which is good if one is taking an early train. And while the street the hotel is on is ok, the next street over, Via Nizzi, is very sketchy and one you’d want to avoid at night.
Hotel was quiet, beds comfortable and it was close to everything. A shout out to Matteo who was very helpful in our having to change dates. The rest of the staff were very nice.

HungaryThe water pressure in the building was insane! There were time when the tap was fully open an it was just dripping. Breakfast was nice but they did not serve any vegetables which for me was very unusual and I was missing this as part of an “amazing” breakfast.
The staff was very nice. The room and the property it self probabaly just got renovated because it looks new, fresh and very stylish :) Every morning the offered me gluten free bread with out breakfast, after I asked for it in the first morning. The location was also perfect, very close to Porta Nuova and metro stations also.

ItalyThe walls between rooms are rather thin and so one hears fellow guests a bit more than you'd like (but this is true about most hotels).
Excellent location on a quiet side street near the main rail station - great breakfast buffet - very friendly and helpful front desk staff

AustraliaThe room was very small for a triple room. You could barely walk in between the beds. The show door was jammed and hard to open. Other than this it was great.
The location was great and room was clean. The staff were very helpful

PolandIt is quite strange but when I asked for an invoice I was informed that even though I paid through booking.com, the hotel did not receive money yet and I could not get my invoice. The reception promised to mail it, but it should not happen. I do not care about internal money transfer and I need to present an invoice at the company right after return.
The room was small but well equipped and comfortable. There was a strange smell but the weather was nice so I just opened the window. Everything else was perfect. Very good breakfast, comfortable bed, everything super clean. Very kind receptionists

ArmeniaThe only thing I can complain about is the room size. It was a bit too small for three people.
The hotel was right next to Turin Porta Nuova train station, which means the city center and the main attractions were reachable on foot. The room and the shower were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was decent, consisting of both sweet and savory meals. The staff was supportive. They allowed us to check out late for no additional charge because our room was available the next day. Overall, good value for money.

United Kingdom- If I had to say anything... they took a long time to provide an invoice, and even ended up sending me one that corresponded to another client... so a bit of a privacy problem? - Nothing else, it's a very very good hotel and super helpful staff.

LithuaniaThe location of the hotel is amazing, just 1 minute from Turin main train station. Despite the fact that it is the station area, it is really neat, there were almost no homeless people, what is more, just a minute, and you are already in the old town of Turin. We had a room with a cozy balcony. We also visited Torino's games at the Olympic Stadium, which was an hour's walk from the hotel and returned with the Tram in 5-10 minutes. The staff was also very friendly, so we will definitely come back!

United KingdomLike most of Italy beware of pick pockets. Around the side streets a few dodgy looking people.
