It’s pricy, but we enjoyed the splurge.

One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in a long time. First class all around. Relaxed and quiet setting on a hill side with a gardens. Nice restaurant on site. Large comfortable room. Love the architecture/ history of the chalet / rooms. Shuttle available to drop off at 2 points outside of old city Florence.

A very nice hotel with classic furniture, fascinating paintings and gardens. The staff are professional, kind and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent. The hotel offers shuttle service to points near the center.

The room was a little small but that is usual in European hotels. I am happy to find fresh and dried fruit at breakfast, but the fruit wasn't really ripe.

Dinner in the garden was especially wonderful--interesting, well-prepared meals in a gorgeous setting. Staff were very helpful when we had questions or problems. Above all, being able to return to such a serene space after a day in the city, among crowds of tourists, really made a difference in our experience of Florence. The shuttle made it possible to move between the center city and the hotel with relative ease.

Location is far but to compensate they provide shuttle service but again with restricted timings.

It’s not a major issue by any means but there is a gap the shuttle service between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

Close to Florence but away from the bustle, it’s a storybook Tuscan setting overlooking beautiful gardens and an olive grove. Nice restaurant, charming bar and library room and multiple spaces outside in which to relax. Very good breakfast and excellent staff. Having the use of the shuttle to get into two points in Florence was very useful.

Excellent decor and ambiance. Great reception from the hotel team. Lovely garden to sit in. Shuttle bus service was necessary and excellent. Extremely good breakfasts as well as good evening meals.

The shuttle doesn't get you very far. It would also be great if they had an easier way for travelers who rely on free wifi to get in touch to schedule the shuttle from off site. It also is a bit confusing/misleading to have an airport shuttle listed in amenities when it's more of an outside service that they call and not their own that they manage. It was an amenity that was high up on my must haves list and it was disappointing to be told they did not have one.

The grounds were lovely. The staff was helpful and friendly, especially those in the dining area and reception. Breakfast was fantastic! Lots of options The room was spacious and very clean. Beds were very comfortable.

Lovely old property in the hills above Florence. The staff were lovely, the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was generous. There is an amazing walk down the hill to the city however, if walking is not your thing there is a shuttle bus that is very convenient.

It was like a small little castle. And also romantic. The people there were very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was really delicious. It was a little bit outside of Florenz. So it was very quite. About a 15 minutes walk. There was also a shuttle service. A car parc was also available

If you rent a car, there are roads near the place that are super narrow and can be scary.

The hotel is closed to Florence, but on a very quiet place: It offers a shuttle to the city. The view is amazing, the villa is authentic and beautiful. The stuff are amazing.

This property is stunning. It is set on beautiful grounds with spectacular views. The free shuttle service was excellent and we used it every day. The staff were extremely helpful. We had an early tour booked and the staff offered to have a breakfast box ready for us at 7am with our taxi. Exceptional service. We also ate in the restaurant and the food and wine were delicious. Would definitely come back and stay at this hotel. We loved everything about it.

A minor thing, in the room the bed was turned away from the window. The view would make the stay perfect.

We roomed in the Annex a very short walk to the restaurant but STAIRS. A lot of stairs, and no elevator in this building. If possible ask to be roomed in the main building, but that might be more $$.

The grounds are beautiful and romantic, and probably better later than March when the plants and flowers are in bloom. There is a lovely grove of olive tree along with a "Villa" style garden and walkways. The best part is the free shuttle to the edge of the Old City and Uffizi Gallery. The drop of point is about a 10 minute to the gallery and the Statues of David, Hercules and the Bronze of Cosimo Medici.

We had booked the Annex room for our kids and it only had an exterior entrance. I wish that was made clear in the description.

Location was fantastic as it was close to the city, but far enough to be quiet. Daily breakfast was excellent. The shuttle service to the city is very useful. The staff was very helpful in booking taxis for us when needed. One day, we had an early tour and they even packed us breakfast bags to go.
