“Location was great, I amidst alot of the old Shinto shrines, had close rain and bus links, easily walkable to a number of attractions.
Staff were great, very informative and friendly
The place was nice and clean, well looked after and didn't feel like a hostel at all
And the Aircon was spectacular”
“Amazing location. Mins walk to Kyoto station. As an architecture addict there’s so much to see about the details. Staffs are very professional. The chapel is astonishing.”
“Close to Kyoto Station. The hotel is so new and offer free coffee/drinks in their lounge. Clean, spacious and comfy room & bed which I can get a good night rest.
Environmental friendly - it allows guest to choose the hotel/room amenities that they need at the reception. Not wasteful.”
“What a fantastic little hotel this is. Ou room overlooked the river. The room is one of the nicest we have stayed in, beautiflly appointed and definitely has the best range of useful accessories in the room I've ever seen. Everything you could possibly need is already in the room from adapter plugs, dressing gowns, cutlery, crockery, glasses, bottle openers, free water, hair straightener, razors, etc etc. The beds are comfy. Do have the Japanese breakfast which is like a bento box with lots of small dishes to try. The staff completely cleaned the room every day and even changed things like the soap. Everything is electric including the toilets and blinds. The location is also good, in the Gion area and close to Sanjo station. Fabulous. We were there 5 nights.”
“The reception were lovely and helpful. The daily breakfast was very yummy. The area was safe and convenient. The bath was nice. Everyone was pleasant and helpful.”
“the location is great as it is extremely close to kamo river. it is about 5 bus stops away from kyoto main station and within walking distance to kyoto kawaramachi station.
the amenities were great and umbrellas were provided at the lobby whenever it is raining. the room is small but cozy and there is a microwave outside our room to heat up our food.”
