Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Love the complimentary SEKKISEI facial care available at the lobby. Solved my dry skin issue. I had the triple room. The bathroom is huge and comes with rain shower. I had the best shower throughout my trip.

SingaporeIt's quite pricey considering the size of the room, lack of view and the location that's more suitable for a business stay.
Good location if you need to be close to Tokyo station. There are some free amenities that you can collect at the lobby upon checking in. I like that you can take what you want, I got the relaxing patches for my legs and spa tablets to try.

SingaporeWould have liked a bit more room space to open up my luggage properly. There's a 7/11 on the ground floor but other than that no food options nearby unless you want to walk all the way to Tokyo station. Also there are only 3 washing machines for the entire hotel so doing laundry is very competitive.
Location, room and staff were great, 2nd floor also has a Komeda's coffee for breakfast. TV can cast Youtube. Sufficient electrical sockets and table space for 2 people. 7/11 on the ground floor is great for late night snacks and breakfast.

TaiwanThere was a sound in the building, I think that was some kind of machine. I asked to change the room, then the problem was solved. But you can still hear the noise in the hallway.
It is clean and not far from the Tokyo station. They have a proper size bathroom including a bathtub, but it also took away some space from the room.

NetherlandsHotel does not offer breakfast and the bed was not comfortable.
That it close to the Tokyo station, less than 10 minutes walking. There is a small 7 Eleven (“supermarket”) at the entrance of the hotel, pretty handy.

United StatesNo on-site restaurant, but that’s not a big deal, as tons of stuff are within walking distance or a short car / train ride.
We loved everything about this property! We just wished we had booked the restaurant across the street at the Marriott, as the food was exceptional! The staff there at Daiwa was excellent from front to back. The air conditioning system was on the best we’ve ever had. Easily walkable to and from Tokyo station.

AustraliaThe room was very very small. We had 3 single beds in it and the beds and we had to walk sideways between the foot of bed and the wall. No where to store suitcases so has to walk around / over them
Was close to public transport and restaurants and shops. Had 24/7 convenience store on ground floor

United KingdomThe stairs did not seem to be accessible, so there was quite a wait to use the elevators at times; this was a bit inconvenient when checking on my laundry which was only one floor below. View from side window of office building but that is a minor point.
Quiet hotel in central Tokyo, convenient for transport links and local attractions. A short walk from Tokyo station with many shops and restaurants nearby. Imperial Palace is not too far, and impressive Artizon art gallery is just along the road. We discovered a free tourist bus stops on the street on our last day. Hotel has a separate restaurant which we used a couple of times, good service, loved the clam chowder with breakfast. There is also a convenience store at ground level which was very handy. Our room was very nice and had comfortable twin beds and a separate couch, huge TV (which we did not use), water heater and fridge. The bathroom was excellent, with a wet room and bath, as well as the usual amazing bidet/toilet. The hotel provided pyjamas and had a laundry room which was very convenient after nearly 2 weeks in Japan. Staff were welcoming and professional.

Cant fault the staff and the service! They’re super helpful for any enquiries we had. Bathroom was beautiful too. Kyobashi station literally across the hotel and 7/11 downstairs was so convenient!! Perfect place if youre planning to go to Shibuya, Ueno, Ginza, Asakusa and even Disneyland.
