The staff was a little bit indifferent. The space in the room was very small with hardly any communal seating or tables.

Named after a character in a famous movie, very special hostel. Very close to the station. Clean and tidy, beds are already made. There is a bar downstairs to chill and the music played was great.

The wall was thin so we hear the noises of neighbors.

The location. We travel to walk the Kumano trails, and it was extremely convenient to go to take buses or trains, or to go to take meals.

The room is not sound-proofed at all so we could hear everything from the hallway and from the guests next door. There was a large group of tourists staying at the inn while we were there, and we were rudely woken up by their loud voices and banging of doors as they headed out early in the morning. I wish the inn had signs to inform other travelers to be mindful of noise and/or set quiet hours.

The location was convenient and it served our needs for a place to stay for one night. The room was small and had little space to open up two suitcases.

Sensitive sleepers will have sound issues with thin-walls and street-sounds, so bring your earplugs.

Good value. Great little hostel directly across from the train station. The bar/lounge downstairs has a swanky atmosphere, with vinyl spinning in dim-lit bar, with pasta dishes cooked by the owner (Yuichi), and local craft beers available. Great for a chillout after a long day. Cosy and humble. Private room comes with kettle, and tea/coffee acoutrement.

The bar and lounge were closed unfortunately. A spot to prepare food would’ve been nice since they didn’t have any food available and no breakfast options were open in the morning before I left.

Great location—easily accessible to the train station and a direct walk to the beach. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English.

The location was excellent only one minute walk from the station. There are many good small restaurants, close by. A great place to stay.

My only warning to guests would be to wear earplugs if you are a light sleeper or want to sleep in past 8am. Since it is near a main road, you might hear some noise from traffic lights, cars and people in the morning.

We were given free parking that was provided behind the accommodation. The area was clean and showers were fantastic. Bed was very comfortable and firm. Was very handy to have a washing machine and dryer to use (only a few hundred yen to be paid to the staff). The location is great. Right next to the train station and the information centre where you can hire e-bikes for the day!

Host was super friendly and helped us ship our bags to another hostel. The bar on the main floor is fun and the hostel is very central, only 1 minute to the train station and restaurants.

The location was just next to the railway station. It is quite convenient for catching up the Kumasi Kudu bus at early morning. And the price is cheap comparing to the facilities.

Very friendly staff with a quiet bar downstairs. Setup was easy to understand and the room was comfortable. It's right across the street from the train station.

Only down sides were downstairs area smelt strongly like smoke and the walls are very thin and close to the road so I could hear the sound of the road crossing all night and bar music. Earplugs did the job!
