The Sengakuji station does not have elevator or lift so can be a bit challenging if you bring big luggage. The hotel doesn't provide water bottle but tap water is safe to drink in Japan so that's fine :)

The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk to the Sengakuji station, which has direct Keikyu line to Haneda airport within 30'. Room size is not very big but is standard compared to other Japanese hotels, the staff are very friendly and helpful. You can pick up a bunch of amenities from the lobby as well, or there's a 7/11 just a min walking from the hotel in case you need any snacks or drinks

Breakfast if 1 min walk from the hotel in a small restaurant. They are giving 4 built in options for breakfast which are pretty similar. If you stay several nights, breakfast becomes to be a boring. Unlike other hotels in Japan, there is no smoking room in the hotel, allowed smoking area is 5 mins walk from the hotel.

Good hotel with fairly large rooms considering room sizes in hotels in Japan. Very friendly staff. Coffee machine in lobby, washing and drier machines on the second floor. 3 mins walk from train station. 2 convenience stores 1 min walk distance.

Small room but that is common in Japan. Breakfast took some adjustment as they do not offer any western type options such as cereal or toast

Lovely staff, clean, good laundry facilities, convenient location.

Breakfast was served in a bar nearby and it was not vegan friendly. I would have liked some more Western options. Also dryer did not work properly and we ended up in a laundromat.

Location, sound proof room, coffee machine, comfortable room. All good in general.

property is right next to metro station which makes transportation very easy. Also, there is a 7/11 where you can buy something to eat or drink if you need.

We didn’t realize this area is primarily non residential work buildings. We struggled to find places to eat close by(walking distance). Most if not all of them were atleast a station away. The construction you see on the road in google maps in front of/close to the hotel is still happening. The room we stayed in was considerably smaller as compared to the picture. There wasn’t enough walking space.

It’s very close to sengakuji station from where you are a stop or two away to be able to board the Yamanote line. From this station you can board an airport rapid express to haneda and narita station which is very convenient. The staff is very polite, they accommodated our late checkout request on the day itself. Despite having barely any walking space, the bed was big enough for two people.

The dryer was not so great, but hanging the clothes after on the hangers given was okay to finish drying them off. It is a little further out of the heart of Tokyo however being next to a station it's still incredibly convenient. The pillows were a little bit hard and uncomfortable.

Facilities were excellent, Staff were always present and helpful both early and late in the day. It exceeded our expectations, laundry facilities were excellent and affordable. Room was clean, cosy, and the shower was clean and warm. Located right next to a station it was easy enough to get there from Narita Airport with the use of 2 trains.

The breakfast, order with a reservation, was served in nearby restaurant. In this restaurant, there is only a Japanese menu. It was not possible to select items, and finally there was no coffee. I suggest avoiding booking breakfast.

It’s a good establishment, with good value.

The breakfast. Its not in the hotel and instead you have to leave the building and walk a couple of mins to a roadside local eatery. The breakfast is “very local” so if you are after a hearty\western breakfast or a coffee, you ll have to look elsewhere.

Good room, easy check in, great location, good value

My only complaint would be that the room was pretty small for two people. Like in the hallway to the door and washroom, you cannot pass another person, you have to go one by one. However I was not in my hotel room for very long, just to unwind and sleep, so not a big issue.

The staff was very friendly and the amenities located in the lobby were a lifesaver. Check-in was smooth. And I like that the staff didn't come in every day to clean. I much prefer to have the cleaning day every couple of days than having people come in and out of my room when stuff isn't even dirty.

There was nothing that I did not like.

I loved the fact that the hotel is close enough to my campus as I arrived as a new student at Keio University and had to wait for the longer term residence to become available. The staff at Smile Hotel were all extremely attentive, kind and patient. The amenities at the front desk and in the room were sufficient. Everything functions well in the room too. There were 7-11, Lawson, and Family Mart all right close to the hotel. There was a 24-hour gym right next door too. The Tokyo Tower could be reach by foot within a pleasant 17-20min walk. The Minato ku Info Centre is close by too, where many brochures and maps can be found.

Nice location very close to train however like one other review says - if you have heavy luggage and the weather is bad please take a taxi from the airport - the station is incredibly close BUT the exit with elevator is across the road about 10 minutes walk away so can be difficult with all the road works (unable to be heard from the room). Room came with block out blinds that worked really well and I was able to open the window to let fresh air in or feel the temperature before going out. There is a 7/11 with an ATM close by however if you are shopping I recommend using a grocery store which is 10 minutes walk north. Very comfortable bed and pillow.

The rooms were very small. 2 adults could fit comfortably in the bed but there was a crunch in space for the luggages. A 3rd person would make the room feel overcrowded. The room was slightly claustrophobic as there were 2 tiny windows that opened upto the side of the next building. Though the ventilation was never a problem.

The location was just a few steps from one of the major subway stations. The behaviour of the staffs were so warm and assuring. They were very cooperative and we had no trouble with anything regarding check in, check out and luggage transfers.

Breakfast is at a fast food chain called Nakau. The restaurant is not very clean and all the choices are pretty much the same.

Great location with convenience stores and metro a few metres away. Nice staff, lots of free toiletries available at reception
