Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaThe reason for choosing this location was the fact that it is a short walk to the cruise terminal. The receptions at the lobby were super friendly (compare with the other hotels we stay in Japan). The breakfast was very good and staffs there were really helpful. The size of the rooms were quite small (for our standard but ok for Japanese standard).

JapanThere was a small bug and a hair was on the floor in the bathroom, which surely didn't make me good. The bathtub was quite small. Still I had a bath but it wasn't super confortable and under the water tap of the tub was dirty. The room itself was small, so you might feel uncomfortable and packed.
The breakfast was brilliant! All those amenities made me excited to choose. I was also happy to have a welcome drink serveice which there is a drink server and you pour yourself though. All the staffs were really nice and helpful.
