I can not find any fault in this hotel.

This is a wonderful property located in an elegant area close to main shopping streets. Our room was on 38th floor and provided a fantastic view of the city particularly at night. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with both Japanese and continental dishes. Despite the size this hotel feels cosy and intimate.

Incredible hotel, service and staff are exceptional. The upgrade from it being our honeymoon (and coincidentally a birthday between us on check-in) was a wonderful touch. The room service to celebrate was the best, and again - the room was just incredible. Worth every penny.

We booked the tempura dinner at the Heritage Japanese restaurant but felt this was quite expensive for what you actually got, pretty much my only complaint.

The Spa is a real blessing here. We used it every day of our 3 day / 2 night stay. Beautiful room design in Heritage wing and Hotel design in the Prestige lobby & bar.

I was expecting more from breakfast

incredible design, big rooms, views from the rooms (we could see mt fuji from our room), amazing swimming pool area, nice area around (check the Safu Café), super comfortable bed.

I have to be pushed to think of this but there is a queuing system for breakfast which seemed a little unnecessary as when we eventually got into the breakfast room there were lots of tables available. Literally that is the only negative I can think of as our whole stay was unbelievable and we would stay there again in a flash.

Where to start!? The hotel is itself stunning, the staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are stunningly beautiful, comfortable And spacious. Everything was thought of down to pyjamas / toothpaste and there was sweet gifts left for us in a drawer

The carpet in the room was not clean and there was a stain on the headboard… we expected a different level in that area. Also, it’s a business conventions hotel, so there was a lot of “traffic” in the elevator and lobby, and a line for breakfast tables.

Very nice hotel in a quiet area of the city, excellent service and very nice amenities… The 37th floor lounge was a nice getaway and the 27th floor pool area was really nice (when entered the at right time and not too busy)

Ive stayed at other Okura hotels before and this hotel felt a bit empty. There was almost no interaction with any staff whenever coming in and out of the hotel. In comparison the Okura kyoto has some of the most amazing and most welcoming staff i have ever seen which made me enjoy my stay much more.

Everything was great! Large rooms with stunning views, we also had a bathtub with a view – it was fantastic! Very comfortable beds and blackout curtains. Amazing gym and spa zone with saunas and hot baths.

Beautiful hotel and clean, spacious room equipped with everything I needed. Spa, gym, and swimming pool facilities were excellent. All the staff were so helpful and attentive. I got so impressed by the thorough and careful cleaning to every detail.

Spectacular amenities, fantastic room size, overall very luxurious. Heated bathroom floors, steam shower, top class toiletries and skin care! Very good location.

Hotel location was a little bit remote, it took us a few days to get familiar with the public transport before we stopped using taxi.

The room was incredibly spacious and had a lot of amenities and the bed was also very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely too - only hope that there would've been a bit more options for vegetarian food.

Not much to say, but would note that there isn’t much around the hotel and most transport links and facilities are about a 10-15min walk.

Fantastic facilities and service, staff was kind and always eager to help. I had an accident and broke my foot during my stay, the staff helped bring ice to my room several times, arranged a taxi to bring me to the hospital and loaned me a wheelchair for me to use. Really impressed with the service. The breakfast was also incredible, one of the best I’ve had.
