How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

- you can take the shuttle to the airport, it takes 10 minutes to terminal 2. The shuttle is easy to find at terminal 2 arrival. - large breakfast

I almost like everything, maybe the only thing i didn't like are the pillows, very thin,
Very accessible to the airport with free airport shuttle. The facilities are excellent, it's everything you need. The hotel ensure always the cleanliness for hygienic purposes by providing new towels every day. I will always patronize Toyoko inn whenever i visit Japan especially their free breakfast.

The room was a bit on the older side. A few hints on how to walk to the hotel from Narita airport station would've been helpful
It was very close to the airport and a bus to the terminals was available.

The bed was a little on the firmer side but still good enough for a night’s rest
Very convenient location for those who are landing late or staying for the last night before leaving from Narita. They have a complementary shuttle service to Terminal 1&2 which is wonderful if you have luggage or if the weather isn’t ideal for the ~ 10 minute walk. They will also store your luggage before and after checkout. There’s a free breakfast buffet as well. Honestly really good value for the price!

The beds were really hard. Of all the hotels I stayed in during my trip to Japan these were the hardest. Some might like it, some would prefer softer bedding.
Good value for money. Free shuttle bus from and to Narita Airport. Free breakfast.

The rooms are surprisingly small, but well equipped and totally fine for 1-2 nights. Given they have a newer part of the whole building, check-in was not totally straight forward as they have multiple receptions.
The place is fairly close to the airport, so its easy to get there even with a lot of baggages. The breakfast was satisfactory, although nothing fancy. The stuff is exceptionally kind and helpful. There is a 0-24 shop in the lobby where you can buy anything you might need during your stay.

Hard beds, pillows were kinda eh, bedding was kinda eh also but it is an airport hotel meant for transfering
Close to airport, great location, easy bus transfer to airport, good breakfast as a simple buffet, provide good toiletries, bonus mini market in the lobby and 7-11 5 minutes away, easy check in and check out fully automated with machines in preferred languages

As with other hotels, comfort of beds. Perhaps they could cater for westerns as most comments refer to bed and pillow comfort. Other than that, everything was fine

The only downside is that you can hear all the sounds coming from neighbors(shower/hair dry) and the hallway.
Very convenient, you can take the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport.

1). It would be helpful in the reservation confirmation if instructions for the shuttle were provided. 2) there is no dinner option, we did walk about 1/2 mile and found restaurants, but the walk is along a busy street, sometimes without sidewalks. 3) free breakfast was bread and coffee. After 5 weeks in Japan where breakfast was often included, this was a major step down.

One bus driver overfilled the bus to the point where we all felt like sardines. It was a very uncomfortable ride.
Free airport transfer. Clean rooms. Self-service check-in and check-out.
