Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). Chinaeverythingis perfect!But I really hope the hotel can offer some small souvenirs or memorabilia, like playing cards or something similar, for guests to purchase as mementos.
This was a truly surprising and delightful experience. When I was searching for hotels on Booking I noticed that the room description mentioned it was designed by Tadao Ando. When we arrived at the hotel, we saw Nintendo branding and realized this was the birthplace of Nintendo! The small fridge, and in the lounge area, all the drinks and entertainment were complimentary. The quality of the refreshments and food provided was excellent. After 9pm, they even offer free ochazuke (tea over rice) in the lounge. The location is excellent, and the hotel provides bicycle rentals.

The hotel is just great! Start with the team-kind, helping, English fluency speaking! The hotel is a boutique hotel with 15 rooms only. The rooms are quite large and the tubs are fantastic, highly recommend! Don’t forget to visit the lounge with the self made drinks, or lobby with all day long free drinks and snacks.

Riku picked up on me being a fan of Nintendo and showed me around the building and what furniture and installations are still from the original Nintendo Headquarter this hotel once was. I stayed in the Japanese Suit which was brilliant. The best part to me was the open air bath which I enjoyed for multiple hours. A hot bath in crisp February air. Also the hotel being all inclusive with a nicely stocked mini bar helped to relax and enjoy the evening.

United KingdomBy comparing with other Kyoto hotels, I hope they can invest more efforts into the room cleaning, my room was not very clean as there was some hair on the floor and bathroom. And left over dishes and tea pot from previous guests. They helped me to clean the room again, it’s just the first expression not that perfect.
