No soap for the shower - had to buy our own. The mattress was extremely soft and pillows lumpy.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was nice and warm and clean. Sheets were good quality cotton.

The heating system was very average. The wall fan heater didn't work? Broken switch on the wall so there was a column heater that couldn't heat a small area let alone 12' ceiling room. Having caught Covid and being bed ridden for 24hrs didn't help matters. Be prepared for a bit of noise from the Main Street and upstairs units.

The room was amazingly clean. The accommodation was of good size and catered for our needs. Good car parking at the back of the building.

There were two things that let the place down. We asked for a late check in which was awesome, although when we arrived the room was really cold. It would have been great to have had a heater in to get the chill in the air. Aldo a small bottle of milk would have been appreciated

Having the heaters turn off after a period of time was difficult at night. It gets very cold in Dunedin and there really is a need for heaters to stay on at all times when it's cold.

Rooms were amazing and very clean. Staff were very friendly and everything was as expected.

- Heater in the room is not warm enough, it turned on and off from time to time according to the thermostat, but it wont be on continuously longer than 15 minutes regardless of maximizing the theromstat, and it wo't be on again soon, at least wait for another 15-30 minutes. - Parking space was available, but it is a bit tight for reversing. But there is no problem for my compqct vehicle, so it's not that bad.

Big room, nice and tidy wih everything you need, microwave, sink, dishes and utensils. It does have a heater and a bath tub in the bathroom.

Awesome historic building. Family suite was comfortable for our family of 3. Unit had a shower and a bath. Sufficient heating in rooms. Awesome location, short walk to many bars, shops, supermarket, restaurants, and Dunedin botanic gardens. Would stay again, and would recommend to others.

This historic boutique hotel is wonderful, would highly recommend. Checkin was easy and professional. The room and facilities were really comfortable and everything was very clean. Onsite off road free parking. Close to town centre and a short walk to the botanic gardens. Would definitely return.

Nothing to dislike. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The Manager was very pleasant & welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean, it had all necessary basic equipment. The Hotel was an older historic building and had been very tastefully renovated and modernised, including all kitchen & bathroom plumbing, lighting and extra electrical outlets fitted. Location was excellent. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay here very much.

The parking is not enough for the building so some people needed to find a nearby street park (although it is not far and a safe area). Also with large cars the space is too compact.
