Maybe the room could be a bit darker for curtains

We had a lovely stay at the apartment. It was very spacious, clean and had double balconies. The location was perfect, within 2 minutes you are in the city center and the harbour strip. The owner was very helpful on giving us some local tips, including the free parking and taxi contacts. Room was cleaned on daily basis and even the dishwasher was unpacked by the cleaning lady. We had a great time and hope to come back one day!

Unfortunately on the balconies it smells terrible like human waste/feces Also when you are not outside but have the windows open the room will smell bad The smell is the only thing that is preventing me of giving a 10 star review

The Azores Inn is a spotlessclean accomodation conveniently located in Ponta Delgada. We had the nicest surprise when we opened the door of the last floor appartment and discovered a very spacious flat and a rooftop with lounge chairs overlooking the city. The kitchen and coffee / tea offered is a nice addition. The hotel also made good recommendations for car rental and for tour booking. The communication via text messages was very easy too. We loved our experience there and will happily return in the future.

Unfortunately, like most older buildings, soundproofing was an issue. You can hear everything that happens in the stairway and we had a family staying in the room above us whose kids would be running around and jumping up and down late at night (not the hotel's fault, of course). As it's located on a very narrow street, everything happening on the street echoes, and it got quite loud during the weekend, even with the windows closed. My only suggestion would be to add a small table or a clothing rack in room 4 as there's very little space for you to air out your clothes (there's only a small closet in the bathroom).

The room is pretty spacious and comfortable for 2 people plus luggage. It was very modern and clean, and you have the option of requesting daily housekeeping or skipping it. The very modern kitchen is set up in a way where multiple guests can use it at the same time without being in each other's way. There's no on-site reception, and you receive a message with all the information you need through booking.com. They also check in to see how your stay is going through WhatsApp. It worked quite well for us! Beach towels were provided, and they were very handy as we didn't have any and wanted to enjoy the hot springs. There was also a safe in the room. Good location. There's plenty of paid parking options nearby.

Fantastic location. Instructions to get into the building and the room were timely and very clear. Super clean. Nice detail to leave tasty cookies in the room and water. Comfortable room and big bathroom. Amazing, helpful and friendly staff: they not only check on the stay but also about our time around the island.

Beautiful property, clean and spacious, freshly renovated with a modern finish. It had everything possibly needed, included AC to get cozier in the cold weather and a fully equipped kitchen. There's a free parking a few min away (Sant'Anna) and it's centrally located.

Our room was changed and my father and I were not in the same room. The stairs were very steep for someone over 70.

Azores Inn was in very central location and there was plenty of crockery so we could have our breakfast. The hosts communicated with us when there was a problem. The beds were very comfortable.

The local Taxidriver and Ubereats driver couldnt find the street, it was a bit difficult to get there.
