The only thing I didn't enjoy was the fact that you have to pay 15 euro for laundry. But there is a laundromat quite close to the hostel :)

Really amazing hostel, clean and modern. The swimming pool and the whole rooftop area is super cool! Also I stayed in an all female dorm and was very happy with the en suite bathroom there :) it is 15 minutes walk from the city centre, but a bus that takes you to the best trails stops right next to the hostel

I would enrich the breakfast of some fruits/vegetables. Just to make it a little bit more variable and healthier. Otherwise no complaints.

The hostel has very friendly vibes. The guests can meet at a terrace with beautiful view to the ocean. The cleanliness was generally good. I felt very safe inside the hostel and even comfortable on the bunk bed - you can close the curtains and create a little "bedroom" of your own. Also the neighborhood felt very safe. It was my first experience with a hostel and taking into account the price and service, it was definitely not the last:)

Laundry is €15. That is very pricey.

Good location at the oceanfront, free parking available, well equipped kitchen, free breakfast, relatively clean, nice common area, met lots of cool people, good wifi, bunk beds have privacy screens for a bit of privacy. Fun having breakfast together with the other guests. I would definitely stay here again.

Terrible smell from the bathroom drain. There is no soundproofing and in the morning, when the girl starts preparing the breakfast, absolutely everyone wakes up. This is something you might think about.

Very nice place with nice guests and staff. Convenient location, there is a place to park if you have a rental car. Nice restaurants nearby. The center is also within walking distance.

We felt too old for this type of accommodation (we are both 29). We felt like a lot of the people there were on the island for partying, while we are the exploring type. But that’s not the fault of the hostel of course!

We were very happy with the including breakfast. There was fresh bread every morning. There was not much to put on the bread, but it’s easy to get something you like at the grocery store around the corner. Some of the staff were very sympathetic. The beds were comfortable and there are enough showers.

The door to the bathroom - there was no curtain, and it was possible to see through - I would recommend to dark them. Ongoing construction in the building bext to hostel -so lots of noice.

This place is more like a share house than hostel, bsc there is mostly no one available in the hostel, so not really able to ask for information- just early morning. So it really depends on the other guests what atmosphere is there. The breakfast was nice and the place was clean. The terrace was nice with amazing view.

It felt like there was no one working onsite for most of the day, so if you didn't ask anything you had to first thing in the morning, you might not be able to speak with a staff member again until the next day. This wasn't a problem for me, but it can be confusing for someone wanting to check in late if they don't know what the process is.

The staff were nice and helpful. There is a nice social common area / kitchen. The check-in / check-out process is automatic (though that wasn't clear at first).

I had a top bunk and the ladder was painful for my feet. The lockers for personal belongings was poorly designed. I would have liked my top bunk made up as I arrived after 1 am and had to make it in the dark

The hostel is close to a street I would not recommend to do walking.

The atmosphere was very nice, the hostel was clean, and well equipped. It has a nice pool and a nice terrace to chill. It is easy to find a parking place.

Smell from bathrooms and lack of working space or quiet zones

The hostel is next to a big street so at the pool, you would hear noises from the street. Same in the room. But it's fine with ear plugs and most of the time you're not there anyways!

The pool was nice and the view too. It was great to have a shared kitchen where you could meet like-minded people! The beds were comfortable and they have a nice section to put your shoes (outside of the room)

Travelled to the Azores for the first time. This hostel is a fantastic spot for backpackers/hikers. The kitchen is well equipped so you can always cook your meals. Breakfast was ok, some bread, cheese ham coffee tea biscuits and muffins. Nothing crazy but good enough to get you going + you can make your own scrambled eggs etc. The showers were good, the outdoor sitting area is great, facing the sea with loads of space to sit, stretch, read etc. Free parking just outside the door. The best part of it would be the living space with big dinning table and sofas where everyone came together at dinner and shared stories, Great place to meet new people. WOULD STAY HERE again 100%
