Very friendly staff. My room, 202, was comfortable and clean. Internet worked well. Excellent television channel surfing. The breakfast was pretty standard. Outstanding location. A good value in my book.

Perhaps in case I must really dig something I'd say the lack of variety in local fruits for breakfast. I was expecting pineapple though.

We had an early flight and had to leave the hotel at 7am. We would highly appreciate an early real breakfast (with real coffee to start the day). I was looking for breakfast time in the booking description, did not find.

Everything was fine ! Clean hotel with very friendly staff. We had to leave early, Nélia prepared us a small breakfast left in our room in the evening. Also, booked a taxi for the morning (no airport bus in low season). Will definitely stay again if i need to spend a night or two in Ponta Delgada.

Very clean and spacious room. Both the owners and the staff are very friendly and kind. The location is perfect just 5 minutes walk from Portas da Cidade and 1 minute from Largo do Colegio. Nice restaurants and bars around :) I do recommend Hotel Insular and hope to come back!

Amazing stay we have had! The staff is so lovely. We had a problem with the parking and they helped us out immediately. We felt like home 😊 and next to that they prepared us breakfast since our flight was at 5 in the morning. So cute!

Not the place's fault, but city center means no parking spots. No big deal, as there is free public parking 600 m away, but to be considered: no problem getting in front of the place by car to load/unload your bags, but all the one-way streets in Ponta Delgada mean that the accommodation - parking lot distance can take some time.

Warm and very welcoming staff, lots of information on Ponta Delgada and São Miguel from the staff - to the point when asked, also giving of their own initiative - and in brochures around the front desk. Superb location within 5 - 10 min walking/strolling distance from Ponta Delgada's very city center and harborline. One of the few places around the Azores I was at that have an air con, but don't have it on full blast all the time. Good breakfast, even very good considering what some other places in this category of accommodation call breakfast in that part of the world.

Very quiet, yet close to main centre. Easy to walk from the hotel to most places. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room had 2 twin beds rather than 1 double bed, which was less favorable for us as a couple.

The receptionist was lovely and accommodating, waiting for us at 00:30 as our flight landed late and even helped with our luggage. Shower was spacious with good stream. Breakfast was also nice. Elevator was helpful.

There really wasn’t anything negative I found. The room was simple, perhaps older looking, but it was exceptionally clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable nights rest.
