Everything was great from the moment you walk in they great you by name. The garden is amazing. They serve great food. When you go to eat in the garden there is a big table where there guests sit together to eat to talk about they’re day and what there plans are. They even ask if you wanna join them on their hike or trip. Really recommended

The bathrooms were a bit small if you are tall or like extra space for getting showered, but this was minor compared to the rest and not something that would prevent me returning at all.

The breakfast was wonderful to start the day, and the hostel setup fostered a community atmosphere for travelers to meet up and mingle.

Nothing to dislike, it was all great. Perhaps could be improved with additional seating in the garden if you want to bring your own food and drinks and not purchase from the restaurant, but not an issue. Drinks and food from the restaurant were really good.

Satisfied with staff, bed, location, food, everything they offer. Silent room, soft bed, private bathroom in the room. Nice garden to enjoy in hanging net in music with few cats and ducks. Beakfast is nice, freshly prepared by staff. Location is great; few minutes to the center of Ponta Delgada, restaurant & bar in the same building. Kitchen offers much space to prepare food..so.. Book and enjoy your stay. :) Recommended

The electricity hook up situation and how it’s wired. It has problems and they need to be resolved pronto.

Everything was great. However, the electricity would short out quite often. I’m talking about every two minutes it would sort out. And during the night this is really inconvenient because the emergency light turns on in the bedroom and it wakes up anybody who has sensitive to light. That is me, so I did not sleep one of the nights. I went to sleep at 10 and I woke up at midnight and at two am because of the whole situation. I ended up staying awake from 2 AM onwards and the next day was difficult and challenging to do my work. And then I had to catch an airplane so my stay was unsatisfactory.

The bunks are three stories without curtains and are fairly comfortable.

Staff are exceptionally friendly! They gave me a thorough welcome tour which was great to know where everything is. The location is right in town so it's an easy walk to anything in Ponta Delgada. There is also a great outdoor patio to relax or eat at the delicious connected restaurant!

Great hostel!!! The vibe is amazing, very social & perfect for solo travellers. Very clean, with cool shared spaces, especially the beautiful garden to enjoy breakfast in the sun and meet cool people! Special credits to the staff, they are all so kind and fun, very welcoming and friendly - especially Luciaan (amazing receptionist!!!) and Romain (amazing tour guide!!!), both super attentive & hospitable. They also organise daily tours around the island, a cool way to explore and socialise! I highly recommend the “Ring of Fire” tour with Romain. Will for sure come back!

Great location and nice rooms. The staff was super friendly, the garden outside was beautiful and the rooms were nice, with comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. I especially loved that they had created a map of the island with all of their recommendations for places to go and things to see, and the suggestions were excellent!

One of the staff members, Marc, made us feel very uncomfortable during our stay. On multiple occasions he made inappropriate or insulting jokes and comments toward us and a few other guests. It was to the point where we were hesitant to leave our room on the evenings he was working the front desk. All the other staff were amazing though and very kind and accommodating, this was only an issue with Marc. Also not a great indoor common room at this place which is often needed because of how much it rains on the island.

The hostel was at a great location and very clean. The outside area was gorgeous and the morning breakfast was tasty although rather small. Almost all the staff were lovely, very accommodating and easy to get along with.

The crew did absolutely anything possible to assist us and make us feel home. The private room was very neat and has a door leads to a beautiful shared garden & pool. The hostel has a great location close to everything by walking. Recommended!
