Room would benefit from additional furnishing

This hostel is beautiful. The owner explained that it was originally his grandparents house and that it was totally refurbished as a hostel. It was done in excellent taste. Very modern and spotlessly clean. Bright, spacious and comfortable kitchen and seating area offers a lovely space to meet fellow travellers. Staff were most pleasant and helpful. Great location. Would highly recommend.

Not that it bothered me, but there is no TV or fridge in the room, but there is in the common room and the kitchen.

Very modern, super spacious rooms, with neutral and minimalistic decoration. Overall, a well renovated building, right in the city centre of Ponta Delgada. The terrace on the 5th floor offers great views over the city. The location is excellent, and there's free parking right nearby, and if full, the alternative is a couple hundred meters away. Breakfast was nice with some regional produce.

Best hostel I've ever been to. João and André were truly exceptional, always making sure I had everything I needed. The place is perfectly located, right in the center of Ponta Delgada. The rooftop balcony is amazing, and the common areas are great, with attention to every detail. The room was really tidy and in excellent condition. Even the breakfast was really good. Amazing value for money. I cannot recommend this hostel enough.

Not a thing! I couldn't have asked for more, which is not easy for a New Yorker!

Everything!! I felt like I stayed at a 4-star hotel... Beautiful! Super clean and modern, Breakfast was awesome, Rooftop seating with gorgeous view for breakfast or anytime, Bed was comfortable, 5-minute walk to the harbor and beautiful city, to name a few things. But the staff, Joao and Andre, is what made it unique. Both were consistently eager to help all guests with any of our needs, as well as offering suggestions of what to do and see in their incredible Azores. I was traveling alone, like many others, and they truly went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. Staying at Sky PDL made my adventure to the Azores that much more special.

electric kettle was missing in the kitchen or rooms. It would be great to be able to drink some tea in late afternoon. In the room you could also add some small wooden shelf where you can open travel bags. Now it has to be done either on the floor or on the bed. It would be a shame to damage them.

We were able to check in early and also after check out the host allowed us to store our bags and use the common areas. A good breakfast was served. The room we had was spacious with a nice balcony and good-sized bathroom with shower and clean towels. The bed is super comfy with nice sheets. Air-conditioning works well. Even though the building is located in the city centre right in front of the main street the widows are sound proof and we had a good nice sleep.

Our stay at Sky PDL exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the private loft room which had a gorgeous view of the city and was next door to the terrace that had an extraordinary view of the ocean. Andre was incredibly helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable about the history of the Azores and local activities that catered to our interests. The included breakfast was also extensive for a hostel and was very convenient and appreciated. My partner and I have traveled extensively and stayed in various types of hostels but the facility and the staff at Sky PDL were the best by far. We highly recommend this hostel to any friends, family, or fellow travelers!

This has nothing to do with the hostel, just for anyone renting a car, be aware there is limited free parking in the area, & it can be challenging to find a spot.

Great staff, very helpful and accommodating, the hostel is brand new, very clean, & great atmosphere, beautiful views from the terrace. Shout out to the staff for their hospitality.

Everything was great, but maybe more hanging space for towels in the rooms. And a way to organise the fridge when it will be the full season :)

The whole building is beautiful. The open kitchen is great, makes you want to spend time there. Lots of area outside but I was very windy when I was there. In the summer time I would have like to eat outside and just enjoy the view on the balcony. The high ceilings, the elevator, there is even a dishwasher in the kitchen ! Joao and Andre were present and available to answer our questions, our needs and give advices on what to visit in the area. They even packed a « to-go » breakfast for me as I had and early flight 🙏

A mini fridge in the room was the only thing I felt we missed, and that's NBD.

The room was great, the bunk beds worked well for our kids. The breakfast was fantastic, rolls, local cheeses, good coffee. The guy running the place was super friendly, and they let us store our bags the day we left. For the price, this was one of the best places I've ever stayed.

The room was bright and clean, the bathroom was fabulous, and both were super spacious! The location is perfect, right in the centre of town. Loved the upstairs terrace perfect for a pre-dinner drink, and the patio for breakfast outside. The fact that this was the owner's grandmother's house, that he has refurbished impecably well just adds to the charm of it. Owner and staff are really friendly and helpful. We had a 4am wake up for an early flight and they left us out some breakfast to take with us. All on all, a superior experience and amazing valie for money! Highly recommend it!

The weird smell of the new furnitures in the room felt a bit suffocating on entering!

So glad to have chosen sky pdl to spend 4 days at Ponta Delgada! This hostel is newly opened and is perfectly located at the centre. It’s so luxurious in terms of a hostel honestly. The staffs were super friendly and the breakfast was equally impressive. Appreciate the decor and ambience of the place with a special mention to the breathtaking views of the vast stretch of the Atlantic right up the terrace. Definitely recommend to choose sky pdl without any hesitation to be sure to have your expectations exceeded in every possible way!

EXCELLENT ACCOMMODATION! It's very new and very clean, all the facilities are perfect, especially the equipped kitchen and balconies and rooftop with great views. The location is very good, in the city center. There's no problem parking the car in the free spaces near the accommodation. They have an elevator, so there is good accessibility. Air conditioning in the room, comfortable bed and large bathroom. Two things stand out: the breakfast is fantastic and the people are very friendly, human and attentive. The atmosphere is totally friendly. João and André were very special to me during my stay in São Miguel! It was my third time in the Azores and this time I spent 10 days here. I highly recommend this accommodation! Grade 10 out of 10!

Very accommodating and seamless check-in process! Joao and Andre were both wonderful hosts and made sure everything was taken care of. Any question I had they answered and were able to accommodate and it made it quite a comfortable stay. 10/10 would stay here again and recommend to those visiting the Azores! Sky PDL is a new hostel in Ponta Delgada and I will not be surprised if soon they are a popular destination to stay.

Wow. What a lovely hostel in a great central location right across from the farmer's market. Incredible panoramic view from the upper terrace. Great place to take your delicious breakfast and start your day.
