“19th floor appartment with balocony view to the east of the port and docks.”

“The location was fabulous - right on the beachfront, and our unit looked out over the water. Breakfast and dining areas were the same, gorgeous views, and when we stayed, there were plenty of spots to eat and drink with great views. No swimming, though - not really fond of the crocs - but the swimming pools were refreshing. Our room was the last available on the site, very clean but three beds - a double and two singles - and it was a bit squeezy in terms of room to move - but the balcony right on the shore front made up for it. And to be fair that was clear on the booking form and how the room size and beds were listed. Staff were great and doing a job at a time when obviously staffing was in high turnaround.”

  • Travelodge Resort Darwin Review score: 9

“I liked that the resort was in a good location for transport on buses and also close to a supermarket. The townhouse was very good and would suit families as there was lots of room for everyone and the kitchen facilities were great to have.”

“Modern room with unique hexagonal and tropical character.”

  • Cooinda Lodge Kakadu Review score: 8

“We had a Lodge Family room for the 2 of us, which was spacious with good air con. Onsite restaurant and bistro were good. We had nice meals. The terrace was comfortable with water misters. There are 2 pools with gardens and sun beds. The lodge is a perfect location for the Yellow River cruise excursion, which is a must do whilst in this location. It was also well located following our excursion to Ubirr walk and lookout. Just down the road it is also worth a visit to the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre.”
