Extra charge for any kind of extra toiletries and not really all that close to outside restaurants or marketplaces.

Great for staycation and the pool was great. staff was very kind, great food and drinks at the bar cafe. Loved the inclusion of a travel adapter in the room.

When we checked in we got a room with hornets and other insects in the balcony, at first we thought “shrug welcome to Thailand” but after a few moments realized it’s not ok, one of the hornets fount its way to the room. We called the staff for help, they said they’d send someone, but we waited and waited, calling again every now and then, eventually we managed to kill it. We waited for too long, maybe close to an hour, we called and asked for another room, they eventually moved us to an adjacent room which was clear of any insects somehow. Every time we had to call someone (to help with luggage or some kind or service) it took forever to respond. We waited almost two hours we checked out for help with safe and luggage (mind you, hillside rooms are not accessible). Hillside rooms are a bit dated, good enough for us. AC was hard to fine tune, but worked well. Also getting to the room requires waiting for the funicular which is very very slow. Luckily we were in the first row and we just took the stairs. Massage and spa is overpriced, quite significantly compared to Thailand prices. So is the food in the hotel but that was more reasonable.

The most beautiful hotel we’ve ever been to. Amazing pool and beach. Huge room (hillside). Bathtub in balcony.

Resort is old so the decor is not modern. Not enough cupboard space for those who are staying longer. We only stayed one night so it was tolerable to keep everything in the luggage.

We booked the pool access room so had direct entry to the pool with our own pool deck area. There was a lot of privacy and convenience. The room was spacious and bed was huge so it's good for those with kids.

Nothing. The hotel seems old. But it didn't bother me.

We booked a direct access to swimming pool room. Everything was nice in the hotel. Nice staff, bed is very big and comfortable, pool is amazing. There is 2 restaurants in the hotel and the food was really good. I would like to stay there again.

The shower would go from hot to cold in an instant. It is a shame that everything costs. For instance we previously stayed in a beach side hotel in Koh Samui where the paddle boards and kayaks were free for guest use. Here, they wanted payment to rent them. The drinks were pricey, the mini bar especially. 2 waters a day were complimentary.

The grounds were amazing at this hotel with the plants, flowers, many bonsai and the statues. The swimming pool was huge with a swim up bar. We loved feeding and petting the animals. Breakfast was lovely with a huge selection and a fresh omelette station. All the staff were cheerful and very efficient. The room was a fantastic size for a couple, we were in the beach bungalows. Shower room was huge.

    - breakfast was crazy. hard to get seats and the staffs attention. - room was as clean as it should be. Partner is allergic to dust. Some parts likely don’t get dusted at all or wiped clean. For the price and for the 4 star it 5 star I expect a very clean room. - would I come back ? Not sure tbh.

    - location is good but you need a moped. They provide shuttle buses to patong and kamala beach. But tbh worth getting bike for more independence - private beach is beautiful. - the grounds are stunning. Just waking around and taking it all in. - staff were lovely esp the cable car guys !

Sunbeds uncomfortable Not enough complimentary transfers to Kamala beach . Only patong . Rooms a little tired Everything looks lovely on outside but needs some maintenance for instance tiles missing in pool area . We liked the privacy of the hillside villas but glad we were given a room on 3rd floor . Would hated to have to walk up further than 3rd floor and and if cable car already headed up to higher floors pain waiting for it to come Back down. Check in and check out not so good either Pre paid before arrival through website - asking for credit card details at hotel on arrival . Which we didn’t have as it must have been paid via booking.com Also we asked if it was possible to check out an hour later - told yes but then when we got to rook at 12 pm locked out with all our stuff inside

If you have read the reviews you should know what to expect Pool area nice Staff All nice Food at resort very nice as well . Very comfortable bed and good air conditioning Gardens beautiful - loved these more than anything Location good as a base

-Cheaper to book through their website than on Booking.com (by nearly 30%) -Avoid the evening seafood BBQ buffet at all costs, all of the seafood was terrible, grossest shrimp we ever had and nearly none of the BBQ options were edible (But the fire show is cool, but you dont have to sit for dinner to see the fire show). -As other said there are mosquitos but they try to combat it with sprays, bug lamp in the room. If mosquitos love you, wear something with DEET outside unless you're directly on the beach, and don't leave doors open. -Unless you eat a lot in the restaurant for lunch + dinner, you don't need to buy resort credit because that's all it's good for. It can't be used for classes, room service or spa. -We had the room going up the hillside with the fernicular. Never could figure out how to get the fernicular to come pick us up and it was very slow, so ended up walking most of the time. It's a nice room but can be annoying, especially if you forget something in the room. -Cleaning service was very slow. Had the sign out and called for cleaning twice in the day and housekeeping didn't come until very late in the afternoon, 1 hour after I called. -But my biggest issue with this place is that they claim to be one with nature and yet use a huge amount of single-use plastics. They talk about reef clean up and planting native species but everyday give guests single-use water bottles (no bottle refill for your own bottle) and toiletries. Every major hotel chain has switched to re-fillable bulk toiletries, but this place still uses tiny daily plastic bottles. Sad to think about the thousands of tiny plastic bottles they throw out every week.

My family was happy to relax a few days here. Breakfast buffet was impressive, and we loved all the activities like sports classes, free morning stretching class and the animals. Beautiful gardens.

The hotel could have had more meal options in their restaurant. The food was great but depending on your length of stay you can find yourself order the same meal.

We really enjoyed our time here. The hotel was scenic and staff were very welcoming and went out of their way. The breakfast buffet gave lots of really good options and the restaurant food was very nice. Some good love entertainment by the poolside bar.
