Beware of the narrow driveways if you have a large car. Location is great but not close to any shops on foot.

Great views from the cottage - we were able to directly see Mt. Fuji from our cottage. Lots of parking spots right in front of the cottage if you are travelling by car. Cottage is very spacious and could accommodate a large group, there are three separate toilets, one bathroom and another shower room so that you don't have to wait long to use the bathroom if you are travelling with a large group. There is a kitchen inside the cottage so that you can cook meals in the cottage if you would like to. A BBQ is available right outside of your cottage, but you will need to pay to use this and bring your own ingredients. There is also a "scenic bath" that you can pay to use as well, with direct views of Mt. Fuji. There are vending machines around that also sells beer so if you run out of drinks, you won't have to jump in the car to get to a convenience store to buy more. Overall, great place to stay in and it exceeds my expectations.

We could have used someone to show us to our cabin and explain how to use things (especially the BBQ). I was shown instructions when I checked in but not given a copy. Making a successful charcoal BBQ took more know-how than we had. More personal service would have augmented the experience. Also, we would have liked to use the onsen on weekdays.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff made our trip very relaxing and enhoyable. Even when taxis weren't available after hours, they sent a staff member to pick us up, which goes well above and beyond all expectations. Everyone we interacted with was very kind from the moment we checked in to the moment we were dropped off at the local bus station. The facility was very clean, the beds were quite comfortable, and we woke up to an amazing view of Mt.Fuji. I'd highly recommended this resort to any of my friends visiting the area.

A small minor one. We didn't have a car, so we couldn't get down to the town below. Then again, it was fine, as it allowed us to unwind from a hectic few days in Tokyo.

The lodge was beautiful and spacious. The setting was amazing in amongst the forest with Mount Fuji in the foreground. So majestic. Breakfast was brought to our lodge, so it was lovely to eat on the balcony. Very simple breakfast. We only stayed one night, but it was worth it. They do have shuttles to take you down to the town. A gorgeous place.

View of Mt. Fuji very close to hotel. Rooms, toilet and bathroom were very clean and new. Beds were comfortable Kitchen was very clean and full of equipments.

AC didn’t work in the main room. We were confused a bit about the breakfast. It was okay, but we expected something else. It would be maybe nicer to have a menu in the house to review it calmly later instead of having to decide straight from the start. Yet it’s just a little matter.

The staff were very friendly. We were really pleased with the shuttles! It was so helpful and nice to drop us off to the town while it was raining, as well as to help with luggage and the early travel to the station on the last day. The views of mount Fuji was amazing when the rain stopped. The whole area has a really beautiful nature, we liked exploring the woods around. The hotel has an onsen, we were alone with a friend there, it was calm and relaxing. We really liked the private hot tub on the balcony too, it was just perfect to start the day. It was also handy to have all the needed facilities and especially a big fridge.

If there is a public Onsen with the fuji view, it would be more perfect place to stay.

The Fuji view is amazing. Room facility is good with all kitchenware equipped. The bed is comfortable. If there is a public Onsen with the fuji view, it would be a perfect and comprehensive resort to stay.

We booked a cottage with mountain view and all rooms have great view of Fuji mt. Rooms are spacious and fully equipped. Staff is super nice, attentive and helpful. They also offer shuttle bus from / to the main station and to supermarket where you can get foods and drinks.

Bed could more comfortable A/C and Heater did not function well and only Japanese Language which, foreign tourists have very hard time to operate and may very easily make mistake
