It’s a little hard to locate. I had to go around thrice on the building it was located. Check-in are also 3pm though they will let you stay in the common area or leave you bags while roaming around Ximending.

It’s clean and looks newly renovated. I also like the free crackers, tea and coffee in the common area as well as free use of washing machine. Staffs are very helpful also. It’s also near to everything so it’s very convenient.

The hotel is inside of a very old building which you might miss if you don't know that place. Hence, having guidance towards the hotel or the staff who is checking for guest's arrival time is recommended to inform the guest how to get to the hotel. Because it can be slightly confusing if you only rely on the map. When room was requested to be made up, even if the bedsheets will not be changed daily, please check how many days have the guests stayed in the hotel. We were staying for 5 nights and only on the 3rd night we requested to have room make up service. But the bedsheets were not changed. This is not the main point. The bathroom was not cleaned which is quite surprising to us. Hence, we requested for another room make up the next day. But the bathroom was still not clean and resulted in the water in our bathroom being flooded out since the drainage was not checked.

The room has amenities which I never thought a boutique hotel like this will have. Dyson hair dryer and Moschino or Bvlgari bath amenities. The location is right at the Ximending pedestrian area which all tourists will know. So, getting food is not an issue even if the hotel is not providing as there are plenty of local eateries around too. Unlike the other hotels, this hotel is having better soundproof after checking the reviews and filtering other hotels around the area. One of the staff, Wei Ling is very courteous. Being in service line myself with my friend, her attitude is very good despite not having professional training or background of hotel management. She is very polite and will also check out on the guest if we managed to get to the intended place after checking with them the day before. This is an extra effort which deserves to be complimented because most people are afraid of talking to guests due to language barrier. However, trying to communicate with guests to make them feel welcome is very important. Thank you Wei Ling! Keep it up! Will definitely stay here again if we visit Taipei again.

The place was honestly quite tough to find; we spent about 10 minutes figuring out the hostel's location and which elevator to take. However, once we found it, everything went smoothly. We initially booked a double room with a shared bathroom, but it was too small for two people with a 28-inch suitcase. We upgraded to a larger room with a shared bathroom, which had ample space for our luggage and allowed us to move comfortably between the toilet and our beds.

The location was amazing! Just a few minutes' walk, and you can reach the heart of Ximending. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive; we appreciated how they took note of the laundry timings and even called our room to let us know when it was available. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Additionally, the free snacks, tea, and water dispensers made our stay very convenient. Room service was also available whenever we need so that is a huge plus! Highly recommended!

- as so many people have said, it’s hard to find. It would be good if staff could message beforehand to let you know that it’s in Lion’s plaza up the 9th floor - you have to book a time slot for laundry. Weren’t really told what to do and how long it would take. Ended up finishing at about 11pm which wasn’t ideal. - the room we were in were fine for us, but people with suitcases will struggle. However, the hotel does have other, nicer, larger rooms - we had to walk through the corridor, past the lift, through the reception/communal area to go to the toilet/shower - toilets are odd - they flush automatically when you sit down. Gives you a surprise!

By mere coincidence, there was a flood in the hallway just as we arrived, which messed up the carpet and have a bit of a stink. Our fully automated toilet (Japanese style) was amazing, but the remote was broken and I was too shy to ask them to change the batteries. Worst of all, no windows in the fairly tiny room, so we never had a feel as to whether it was day or night outside. Overall cute and with the money.

It’s quite confusing trying to figure out building lift since the there is quite a shoplot on the ground.

The location really strategic in ximending. Walking distance to train station and lively night market. Love the free snack, water station, laundry. Add up value providing dyson hair dryer and Moschino shower and shampoo.

This is a great place to stay in Taipei. The rooms are new and well-designed, staff are nice, free snacks and laundry. We stayed for 10 days and ended up staying in all the room types except for the one without a private bathroom and all were good. Will definitely stay again next time. Ps. The hotel is inside Lions Plaza. Walk in and go straight to the back where the lifts are, it’s on the 9th floor.

The place is a little bit hard to find, particularly if you arrive at midnight like I did. I was a bit skeptical about the neighborhood at that time of the night but it's a really good place to stay and a super value.

Hard to find at first but I just followed the other reviews and went into the building and knew it wasn’t on the ground floor. Find the elevator and you can see a sign for the hotel. The lockers are quite small but you can leave your luggage in the lobby and just keep your essentials in the room with you.

Clean and comfortable. They always had drinks and snacks available which was nice. The location is pretty convenient, close to the metro and lots of restaurants and bars.

It was confusing going to the place, sending of the video location in advance can help the visitors to navigate.

The place is clean and modern. I stayed in the mixed dormitory and I feel safe. It is my first time doing solo travel, and I recommend staying at this place. Plus points for the free snacks, Dyson hair dryer, and free laundry!

The absence of bidet in 2024 is unreal. The toilet was also kind of weird. Nothing dealbreaking but what was that flap over the toilet drain.

The included soap and shampoo is great. I wish I can find where they buy those. The beds were also really comfy and the airconditioning is perfect. I also don't hear noise from neighbors or the hallway.
