We had an amazing 2 nights stay in this wonderful place. The room was spacious, spotless clean and we had everything we needed. Breakfasts were amazing! Bread, buns, cold meat, homemade marmalades, coffee, tea, homemade grapejuice, scrambled eggs... all was better than we expected! Our hosts were very friendly, location was perfect for trips around Wachau. Family's wine was great and we decided to take some home. If you are looking for a place where you can really recharge batteries and find peace - this is it. We will be back for sure!

The whole end-to-end experience was perfect. The hotel was very responsive before and during our stay. Reception were lovely and check-in was very smooth. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a charming two-bedroom suite, overlooking the Danube! And complimentary refreshments in our room was a nice touch. Breakfasts were extensive, fresh and delicious. We had dinner in the restaurant and every course was spot on. And having the use of a pool, sauna and fitness room after a day out was ideal. All in all, utter bliss.

For those who wish to have an evening wine tasting and then getting back somehow it could be a bit problematic without having designated driver along. We also liked the possibility to have outdoor dinner/breakfast. Lovely fireplace was excellent to create a romatic atmosphere. Our host Karin was very kind and helpful for getting us accomodated.

I arrived late in the night and she was waiting for me to hand over the key and help me for the luggage. The apartment is located in an idyllic romantic historical old town, which is one of the famous Austrian wine region. The donau river flows right in front of the town. The room is clean, spacious, well equipped and full of light. Just ask the hose by breakfast a soft boiled eggs, you have a nice surprise:) The stay is perfect for holiday and business, will come back again.
