Location was great . The cabin was lovely . I loved the little things they did to show care...the way the fireplace was prepared..there were LOTS of tea bags. There was glad wrap for the sandwiches . Charming and lovely

Gorgeous setting and convenient to the park shuttle and to several trails practically just out the door. The breakfast buffet was outrageously good with a wide selection of items to suit any taste. The wallaby’s and wombats who visited each night were a special treat.

Later they delivered a bottle of sparkling wine. When we had dinner in the restaurant, which was exceptional, I was delivered a plate decorated with chocolate and maccarons, meringues, etc. We were made to feel really special.

The accommodation is cozy and private situated in the bush., you just look out the dinner and see lovely moss and ferns. There was a roaring fire when we arrived which made things really welcoming. The kitchen has all you need. Highlanders is close to the visitor center so an easy walk to catch the shuttle bus to the park. The spa was very relaxing after a day walking.

We travelled for our honeymoon and when they found out, they upgraded our room and gave us a free breakfast. We LOVED the nature walk around the hotel and the information on things to do around the hotel was amazing. We had a fantastic meal at the Highlands Restaurant, the service was exceptional and the meal was cooked to perfection. Breakfast had everything you would want. We also ate at the bistro which was also good. Both of us had steak and cooked just as we asked for. My highlights would have to be the wombats, the beautiful walks and the best place to relax and unwind.
