The room was comfortable without frills. There was a refrigerator in the room. We had a beautiful deck with chairs and a view of a meadow and horse paddocks. The location is convenient to local attractions without being in the town of Berchtesgaden. It is exceptional value for the money. The hosts are warm and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. You will need to climb stairs to reach the rooms on the upper floors. If you have trouble with stairs ask for a room on a lower floor. Access to the property is via a narrow lane. It's not hard when you know what it looks like, but is easy to miss on the first approach.

The view from to room! That was absolutely astonishing. Staff was really friendly and we could check-in later then it was written in Booking description. It is only a 3 km from Berchestgaden city center and aroud 1,5 km from König See beach. The city center of Schönau is around 400 meters, there is Sparkasse with no additional fees. We did not tried breakfast, but you can have at very nice terrace with beautiful view on Kehlstein (Eagel's nest). Free parking included. It is possible to buy a beer by self service in the fridge provided by accomodation. A small fridge is in the room as well. We will definitely come back there, it was awesome!

Location was exceptional! The snowy hill was a beautiful sight from the balcony. The sound of the ice-melted river was truly mesmerizing.
