Argyll Forest Park can be reached in a 10-minute drive, where guests can enjoy the rocky climb of the Cobbler for some spectacular views. Inveraray Castle and Jail can be reached in a 30 minute drive from property.

It is an excellent hotel. Everything is perfect from the location to the facilities to the staff. We arrived late and the restaurant stopped taking orders as it was after 8pm but the person in charge for the evening made sure that after our delayed flight we would have a nice hearty meal. Rooms were extra comfortable as well. We are returned after 10 years and it maintained the same top notch standards.

The Inn-keeper is very friendly and gives you very nice recommendations on dinner locations, hiking opportunities, ... What was also amazing that you get a free whisky every day as a nightcap!! :-)

Rowardennan Hotel is accessible, yet remote. It is an hour from Glasgow, but located at the foot of Ben Lomond (974 metres high) and encircled by woodland.
