The Stables Bar serves a variety of real ales in a relaxed, rustic environment, while the Ashford Lounge offers comfortable seating, books and games to relax with.

Looks better in real life than on the website. Location is beautiful! Would be a perfect location for lots of walking. We were here for a wedding at Thornbridge hall and was lovely and close for a 2 min taxi ride but in summer you could probably walk it

The location is amazing, so close to Bakewell Centre but still peaceful and relaxing. The little touches like a bottle of wine and Bakewell Pudding on arrival was a lovely surprise and the heating was on so the place was lovely and warm (but not too warm)! The instructions were very clear to find the property!

We enjoyed our stay very much from being met by the lady at our car on check in to vacating the room the next day. One thing I noticed particularly was how quiet it was in the evening, extremely relaxing and peaceful nights sleep had. The room was lovely and very cosy. Would certainly revisit and stay again.

Really lovely room. Very comfortable and large. This was the honeymoon suite (although it wasn’t a honeymoon) and we’d been upgraded unexpectedly. Not complaining- it was a super room.
