Nestled amid 19 acres of gardens and woodland, this 19th century country house provides the ideal base from which to explore the rolling hills and hidden valleys of the Cotswolds.

Set in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside, surrounded by stunning views of Bredon Hill, Cotswold Hills and Broadway Tower, this impressive mansion offers a warm welcome with its magnificent oak-panelled lounge, comfortable bar and restaurant.

It's as beautiful as the pictures on their web pages ! The full breakfast with fruit, sausage, ham, egg, potatoes, mushrooms, beans and of course juice, coffee/tea, breads, and pastries was enough to keep anyone going until dinner time. A dozen towns in the Cotswolds deserve visits, and staying in Dumbleton Hall doubled the enjoyment of our trip there.

This charming half timber-framed, half Cotswold-stone hotel dates back to the 16th Century when it was a country retreat for the Abbotts of Pershore. Now a stylish retreat for all, The Broadway is loved by locals and guests alike with 19 individually-designed bedrooms; each with an en-suite bathroom and fondly named after the most famous winning horses of nearby Cheltenham Races.

The included breakfast was excellent - good variety of foods including full-cooked. Room size and comfort was very good. The large outside courtyard area at the rear exclusively for guest use was a much appreciated reprieve from the summer crowds. Every staff member seemed committed to ensuring our comfort. Could not do enough for us.

Located in Broadway, next to the Lygon Arms hotel, The Lodge at Broadway offers accommodation with free WiFi.

Each unit is fitted with a mini fridge with milk, a flat-screen TV, coffee/tea facilities and a private bathroom with bath and free toiletries.

We rented the two-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. It was even better than expected. Kitchen was well equipped with a six-burner gas stovetop and there was a washer/dryer and dishwasher. Dish/laundry soap provided. The housekeeper, Diana, checked in with us every morning to see if there was anything we needed, but otherwise it's a minimal-contact apartment. There's one small flight of carpeted stairs. No a/c but it's very cool in that area so windows were fine (and I sleep hot). The location is superb - we did not have a car, took taxi from train station in Moreton - and we had no trouble finding plenty of restaurants and groceries in walking distance. If you like to hike, the Cotswold Way literally goes past the building. You can take your breakfasts at the adorable cafe next door - Number 32 - and they give a discount for Lodge guests. Broadway is a magnificent gem of a town. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Lowerfield Farm. A perfect location to visit places of interest but also nice, quiet and relaxing. Our room was spacious but cosy and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious using local produce, especially the tasty eggs from their own hens, and served in the lovely dining room. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Sue and Gareth were the perfect hosts, very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly recommend this lovely farmhouse B&B.

We chose to stay at the Lygon for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. Such a beautiful building, decorated by a trail of pumpkins and pretty lights when we arrived. We enjoyed people watching while enjoying a cocktail in the lounge areas. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the fires to read after a chilly walk. The cocktails were very well made and our room lovely, clean and warm. There is a beautiful Indian restaurant nearby, so good we went twice!
