Beautiful house in a lovely setting.The hosts are helpful and enjoyable to converse with the three dogs are gorgeous. All in all you really feel welcome here would highly recommend.

Our stay at High Grassings, Lake District Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of breathtaking scenery, this charming B&B offered the perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, providing personalized service that made us feel right at home. Each morning, we were greeted with a sumptuous breakfast that catered to all tastes, featuring fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The room was beautifully appointed, with attention to detail that ensured a luxurious and restful experience. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the views from our window were picturesque, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. The convenience (walking distance) to the village and to all Lake District Attractions. Hawkshead is a lovely village, beautifully looked after, and a well kept secret as opposed to other Lake District villages or towns. People incredibly friendly and Mark and Emma wonderful hosts.

The beds were super comfortable, the shower was great and the breakfast was a very relaxing experience. Additionally, we enjoyed the walk to and from the town when we went out in the evenings. Overall it was a very comfortable and relaxing stay, thank you.

The various facilities, including the cutest booths outdoors for a cosy cuppa by the lake make this a really special place to relax and unwind (the lanterns offered in the rooms were such a lovely addition too!) Food was excellent and reasonably priced, variety of drinks were good, and staff were all very helpful, attentive and offered a smile! The offer of fla free drink in exchange for not having your room serviced is a really clever idea - well done. I would.go back in an instant.
