The staff were so friendly and welcoming, they made our trip for our anniversary more memorable. There’s a refreshments stand with juice, water and snacks in reception, umbrellas to rent, complimentary pocessco on arrival, and a card, bottle of wine and chocolate in our room as an anniversary gift. The little things really did add up! The room was lovely and spacious with a nice view.

Great staff/service. Manager Ben was extremely friendly and made our honeymoon stay over Christmas a delight. Lovely decor. Especially with the Xmas decorations. And the surprise Christmas stocking at the front door on Xmas morning was a nice touch. Relaxing by the lounge fire with a cocktail and a book was a highlight. Location is also really convenient

The property location was great, but we were ‘upgraded’ into a room, which was lovely, but on the side of the construction. Considering the selling point for staying at this hotel was the late checkout, we didn’t sleep past half 7, when the building work started. Not ideal for when you wanted a relaxing few days away.

Really nice hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay much more comfortable. We had a superior room which was lovely and spacious. The hotel is in a Great location within the old part of the city with most parts of the city very accessible by foot if your fit and able. The gym was small but well equipped and modern. It was almost a perfect stay except the Vegetarian and vegan menu is a little limited, but we had a fantastic stay in Edinburgh and the hotel was perfect for us.

Excellent location, close to Edinburgh castle and local bus tours. They upgraded our room for our anniversary which was amazing and unexpected - thank you!! Staff were so friendly and helpful, the whole hotel was clean at all times. Decent coffee available for free in the lobby, with lovely local coffee shops close by. We wanted to extend our stay because we enjoyed it so much, but it was fully booked - not surprising but we were very sad to leave. Couldn’t recommend enough.
