Beautiful house and garden, hearty breakfast. Great location, within short driving distance from every point of interest in western Cornwall. The town itself, St.Day, is quite pretty. It was nice to have dinner and a short walk in the evening.

It was a very nice hotel- and the staff was quite attentive.
Redruth
Situated just outside historical Redruth, Tricky’s Hotel features 5 acres of grounds, and a traditional restaurant. The rugged coast at Portreath is a 5-minute drive away.
The lodge-style bedrooms at Tricky’s have private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi access. Rooms also feature a TV, work desk and tea/coffee facilities.
Food was excellent in the pub and so was breakfast 😋
Portreath (Near Redruth)
Along the north Cornwall coast, around 30 minutes’drive from Newquay and St Ives, Portreath Arms has a cosy bar and restaurant serving fresh home-cooked food. Dating back to the 1850s, it offers en suite rooms, a garden, free parking and free Wi-Fi.
A well presented place with welcoming staff. It was clean & pleasantly decorated. Our room was lovely & really comfortable. Breakfast was great. Most importantly they had a drying room when we turned up soaked after a days walking! I would recommend to anyone as a lovely place to stay whilst walking the South West Coastal Path.
Perranwell (Near Redruth)
Dating back to the early 19th century, The Norway Inn is situated in the village of Perranarworthal. Its restaurant serves home-cooked meals made from local produce, and its bar offers a range of real ales.
Large stylish room with luxurious decor which is above average for a pub stay. Spacious modern bathroom. Comfortable beds. Such friendly welcoming staff ,- especially the lovely smiling young man who served breakfast each morning for whom nothing was too much trouble . Great breakfast too!
Truro (Near Redruth)
The en suite rooms at Chycara boast a flat-screen TV with a DVD player, a hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities. The country house also offers secluded self-catering chalets with a fully equipped kitchen.
We had a cabin overlooking a small meadow with a stream close by. You couldn't hear any traffic. We sat on the verandah and watched the birds. Idyllic. Cabin was cosy and charming.
St. Agnes (Near Redruth)
This luxury country house hotel is on the North Cornish coast in the village of Mithian, just 2 miles from St Agnes. It has a seasonal outdoor pool (weather permitting) and free WiFi.
The tasteful rooms are fitted with individually controlled central heating, a TV and radio. They also feature tea and coffee making facilities, and some rooms have garden views.
Brilliant staff, beautiful building.
