Booked a standard double room which was lovely, furnished well and cosy. Dog friendly our Cocker Spaniel was made so welcome. Food was outstanding, breakfast was included and we ate dinner at the Inn too. Cooked and presented to a very high standard, and value.

Breakfast contains amount of choices like bagel+salmon or salmon+eggs (yet don’t know whether can order two or more once because I only order one). The location is really great as its in the town center and not far from the bus station. Some bar’s nearby.

The atmosphere was that of a golfing club with rooms and spaces to meet and relax. Very close to the beach and the University part of the city. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Restaurant available for dinner and breakfast. Town and sights are an easy walk. Beach close by to walk along. Historic sights to see also. Plenty to see in the town. We had a family room which was very spacious with a lovely sitting area to enjoy the view.

The staff were very friendly and helpful in all areas. We ate in the Jigger Inn, the Road Hole Restaurant and had breakfast in the conservatory and enjoyed all the food and the good service. It is so good not to have a breakfast buffet and to have all food cooked to order. We were also given very good tables with lovely views.

The hotel were very helpful in arranging a couple of surprises in our room as well. The staff were very friendly and keen to find out what we were doing during the day. We never felt rushed at any point and were able to relax from the moment we arrived. Lovely drinks and view in the Old Course Bar and breakfast in the conservatory was excellent with a great choice
