The Bear of Rodborough is located on Rodborough Common within the acres of beautiful National Trust land where cows roam free each summer. Originally built in the 17th Century, this former coaching inn provides a warm welcome for all, including dogs who will feel right at home in our country house bedrooms with plenty of walks to enjoy. Whether staying in the main house or country house, all bedrooms are homely and charming and many boast spectacular views over the Cotswolds and beyond.

The room was exceptional, with a huge comfy bed and triple glazing. The food was exceptional, especially the venison and the staff were friendly and helpful. Absolutely could not recommend a better place to stay in when visiting the West Country. Superb!! 🤩

Located around 43 km from Lydiard Park, the inn with free WiFi is also 43 km away from Royal Crescent. The property is non-smoking and is located 25 km from Cotswold Water Park.

The location is quiet and beautiful. Amazing stretched lands with a view. The staff was so friendly and the lodge was really cosy with good food. This is a perfect place to stay if you want to have a real english experience like in the movies. I would definitely come back!

This 17th-century Manor House is in stunning grounds overlooking Stroud Water Canal and the hills of the Stroud Valley. It has an award-winning restaurant, and routes for cycling and walking.

Stonehouse Court Hotel offers bistro-style lunches and à la carte dinners in Court Brasserie. The restaurant serves modern fresh, contemporary, British cuisine.

A beautiful manor perfect for a relaxing getaway. The garden is well maintained, good for leisurely stroll in the late afternoon. My favourite is the tea room, an elegantly period styled room where breakfast is served.

Featuring 4-star accommodation, The Frocester is situated in Stonehouse, 20 km from Kingsholm Stadium and 32 km from Cotswold Water Park. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, room service and a housekeeping service, along with free WiFi. Outdoor furniture is available for guests to relax or dine outside.

We liked everything, first the room quality was superb, the bathroom immaculate and modern. This was an old building in tip top condition, we were given a room on the second floor, stairs a little steep and tricky in places, especially when carrying luggage, totally not suitable for someone with mobility issues. The room was quiet, the TV and WiFi excellent, the room was warm and snug, only a little traffic noise in the morning. The Frocester George was totally faultless. The bar and evening food excellent quality, the breakfast was the BEST we experienced this trip, we stayed at FIVE hotels. This was quality at an affordable price.

In the Cotswold village of Frampton Mansell, The Crown Inn is a 17th-century ‘cider house’ with log fires, traditional home-cooked food, locally brewed real ales and good company!

The Crown Inn is a beautiful building dating from 1633. Surrounded by Gloucestershire countryside, you can enjoy excellent views across the Golden Valley.

It is off the beaten track. I had a single bed room which was large, well furnished and very comfortable. Loved the fact you could see the stars at night with little light pollution. Fantastic evening meal and an excellent breakfast, the homemade baked beans were superb!

Great location and facilities. All of the staff are very friendly. Dogs are welcome all over the hotel (including the bar and lounge, but not the restaurant) and all the staff are comfortable with dogs. The food is also excellent quality and reasonably priced.

Great location, good parking and easy to find. Walking distance to the town centre. A welcome email explained the virtual reception setup, provided the pin code for all the doors and pointed out where and how to get extra items like towels, toilet paper etc. The carton of milk and small fruit juices in the fridge as well as some porridge oats and pains au chocolat were a lovely surprise. The apartment was compact and bijou and had all the comforts and things you expect to find. A lovely little oasis for 3 nights, very relaxing and quiet.

The log burner and the hot-tub made it the perfect relaxing getaway for us. The was a lovely outside space too with firepit and BBQ. The location is good and really peaceful. The kitchenette is small but well equipped and I liked the added touches of tea-towels, washing up liquid and the welcome pack. We would definitely stay again.

Travelling on my own is sometimes a little dull, but the Falcon is a very friendly place to stay with nice staff, excellent food and a cosy feel. My room had a super comfy bed and a nice selection of pillows. The evening meal was superb, and mid-week this was a very relaxing place to spend an evening. Breakfast was included with my room and that was lovely too. I would definitely stay again.

It was located in a lovely little village, opposite a primary school with great views, there was a young lady on reception who was very welcoming and upgraded our room. When we got back at tea time there was a young man on reception also very friendly and to our surprise he was also manning 2 bars and serving food single handed as well as cleaning tables !! 👏👏 Then Breakfast ( incl in the price) was very good !!

I had a lovely stay here for 10 nights. It was a wonderful location to explore the Cotswolds, and also good clean accommodation to relax in. The house is older and has a lot of charm. Also as a solo traveller I felt very safe. The owners are lovely, helpful and hospitable. Having access to the kitchen was a massive plus. Pictures show the accommodation accurately.

Beautiful location. Was given an upgrade to a fabulous room with four poster bed and jacuzzi bath. I especially liked the toiletries on offer to use. Not the little samples, but full size, to use while you stayed. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Would definitely stay again. And will recommend. Dinner was fab too.
