It was such a nice room, it's beautiful and clean with a nice smell. The room has just been renovated, so it was a pleasure to spend time there. Friendly hosts created friendly atmosphere among the guests, so it was a pleasure to spend time with them during breakfast. I had a splendid time in the city and my stay here definitely influenced my impression from the city.

Beautiful homely property perfect location close to walk yet peaceful Jayne and Keith were so welcoming and friendly felt like we were staying with friends:) Parking on site is very rare and super handy

We had a lovely stay for two nights at the Whalebone Arch in Whitby. The room was lovely - it was clean and with nice touches. The owners had left clear instructions to enable us to get the keys without problem, to let oursleves in, and they had organised a parking permit for us for our car, which was super handy.

The hosts Paul & Sharon could not do enough to ensure that our stay was special. Their breakfasts were delivered to our room on time and were full and varied. The rooms were very comfortable, well equipped and very clean. The hotel situation was ideal for the beach (at the end of the road) and within a fifteen minute walk or four minute drive from the town centre.
