I cannot recommend Grove House or their hosts more. From the bed, to the shower to the beautiful breakfast. Our stay was just wonderful.

The place is great, nice comfortable rooms, with all the necessary equipment. The owners were more than wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was rich and very tasty, the atmosphere in the pub was excellent. The place is ca. 15 minutes walk from York train station and ca. 15. minutes to the city center. Nearest shop is about 10 minutes away. Free parking places are available next to the building. We were more than satisfied with our stay and hope to return one day.
