Welcome to Kalnterimi Guesthouse, at Monemvasia Castle. The Guesthouse is located on the main street of the castle-town, 60 meters from the main gate. Kalnterimi Guesthouse consists of two independent residences with sea view: Family and Junior Suite. The aesthetic of the apartments follows the particular traditional architecture of the Castle, combined with modern, distinctive elements.

Our hostess was so warm and personable. She offered us a wine tasting and gifted us with small samples of her mead and jelly. Very kind!

Ideally located inside the traditional settlement of the Monemvasia Castle, Theophano Art Hotel offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi in a picturesque setting. Housed in 5 different stone buildings, the hotel enjoys views to the Myrtoan Sea from its rooftop terrace.

Sleeping inside the walled city is an experience not to be missed. The hotel has a main building that serves as a reception area, tastefully decorated with windows overlooking the parade ground of the military fort. The town's main church is open in the same square. The rooms are located in several small houses near the main building. They are small, cosy rooms with wooden furniture. Our room had a bed with a headboard, small armchairs, mirrors, a nice old table, all in 19th century style. The bathroom was all marble and new. The air conditioning, which in Greece is a must in August, worked perfectly. From our little house we enjoyed a view of an enclosed garden within the walls of another partly ruined house, with birds singing in the morning and crickets all day, and a view of the fortified mountain. The owners are cultured people, infinitely polite and hospitable. It is a place for people with refined tastes, simple but elegant. The owner does not prepare breakfast, but it can be ordered on request (4 different menus, tasty and plentiful!) and served on the small terrace of the main building from 9.30am to 11am. We hope to return sooner or later! Thank you again for the warm welcome!

This is a lovely location, our room was great, we got an upgrade on arrival for free, which was amazing. We also lost a camera in the castle and the lady on the desk helped us track it down. Superb customer service.

Excellent hosts, friendly and obliging. They went above and beyond to please us. Lovely people and very hospitable. The place has everything you need to stay not just for one night but for a longer period. The fresh smell of clean sheets and the home's areas was amazing. The veranda, the courtyard and the village with its unique position and a millon dollars view restaurant, all together made our experience very pleasant and relaxed. We stayed for 3 nights in July in the stellaki mansion (arches and two storey). We were promptly met at reception and taken to our rooms, help with luggage was offered. Both apartments were lovely. We had no complaints. The air conditioning worked well. The arches was spacious, the two storey romantic and cosy. The shared terrace was lovely with a clothes airer for our wet things. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It is best to wear plimsoles as the cobbles are slippy. All adds to the amazing experience :)

The hotel is beautiful - spectacular views, lovely buildings/facilities all in a landscaped setting. I loved that I could sit by the pool and hear the bells of the sheep nearby! The breakfast was fantastic and dinner on the terrace a delight. Our room was upgraded, was spacious and had a great vaulted brick ceiling. All the staff were really friendly.

The overall experience of staying in the guesthouse was good & the place (castle) is kinda perfect for a romantic weekend. The staff was helpful & the amenities were as described. Beware that the ground rooms have low ceilings and the shower has a bolted ceiling - meaning u cannot really move much. The floors are cold because you do not have wooden floors. The entry to our guesthouse was a small door, and we had a nice terrace right outside that was private. We ate the breakfast at the hotel which was 250m away from the accommodation.
