Fantastic location with great rooms and we had a balcony overlooking the pool as well as the beach - ideally situated you can walk to the beach in seconds - 0nto the main pier and down to the boardwalk and fun fair. Hotel is Very Clean, Very modern - Could have spent all day in the pool looking out at the beach - fantastic.

The room was lovely with two big beds and a little kitchen where we could make our own breakfast. It was a little bit cold in the room. However it was a perfect temperature for us to sleep. She gave to us good instructions how to go and see the best places in Santa Cruz. Her dog was really cute and friendly. Good breakfast in walking distance (across the street and a short walk to the Picnic Basket). The swimming pool was excellent, and the 2 hot tubs were clean and relaxing. There were laundry facilities and that was a game changer, as it was a mid-trip stay for us. The people at the front desk were nice and remedied a situation from our first night. We were given a discount on that night and a room upgrade at no extra cost due to issues in our first room.
