We were pleasantly surprised by the heated floor in the bathroom, which is spacious and practical. Hotel staff very nice and friendly! We will definitely be back soon. :)

The location was stunning, the facilities were top notch, the service was personalised and impeccable. Our room (the family room) was straight out of an interior design magazine and the breakfast was great. We dined several times at the hotel restaurant which was adjacent to it and is also run by the family - and it was delicious. There was a big park with a trampoline and other games to keep the little one entertained and the roofed, heated pool was a big hit also. There was a lovely garden to have tea and cake in (home made cakes, coffee and tea were available from 2 to 4 pm at no extra cost) and also to read a good novel and lose yourself in the scent of the flowers and the sound of the feature fountain. The gentleman who runs it has high attention to detail and was very kind and attentive. We had to leave before the usual breakfast time so he got up one hour earlier to make a full breakfast just for us! He made sure our stay was excellent and we will definitely be coming back next year! Many a hotel owner/ hotel chain manager should visit and take notes on how to run a place to an absolute high standard.

Located on the shore of Lake Traunsee, with direct lake access, Das Traunsee - Das Hotel zum See is situated in the centre of Traunkirchen in the Salzkammergut, 10 km from Gmunden. We loved the views, the spa area and general calm of the hotel. The chef is absolutely incredible and still has us raving about the dinners we had.

Just 1,000 metres from the Toscana Congress Centre and Seeschloss Palace, the Aktivhotel Wildschütz in Salzkammergut was renovated in 2015 and offers quiet rooms with flat-screen TVs and free WiFi and... Such amazing and cute place! We loved it! The room was very clean, they offer gym and sauna for free, and there is also nice bar inside the hotel if you wanna drink some beer with good music. The team is very kind and helpful. They give you lot of information about places to visit in the area. There is also free parking and good wifi connectivity. In my opinion the images not really show how awesome is this place. They have old part of the building, so maybe they didn’t update the images of the new part. Highly recommend!

Gasthof-Pension Urzn er 2 stjörnu gistirými með garði í Altmünster. Það er veitingastaður á staðnum og ókeypis einkabílastæði og ókeypis WiFi eru í boði. We had a wonderful vacation, two families of four people each. Convenient, simple, and clean rooms with stunning views of the lake and mountains. Delicious restaurant with local cuisine. Great breakfast. A fantastic living room in the guest house that comfortably accommodated 8 people every evening :) We highly recommend it.

Offering panoramic lake and mountain views, Seehotel Schwan is located directly on the main square in the centre of Gmunden, only a few steps away from the shore of Lake Traun. Our room was huge with an absolutely stunning view. Breakfast was great. Location couldn´t be more central, still very easily reachable by car.

This 4 star hotel is set in the centre of Traunkrichen. The hotel offers accommodation with lake views, a restaurant, a terrace and a garden. food was awesome, rooms are clean and fresh.

Hocheck er staðsett í Altmünster, 30 km frá Kaiservilla og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, verönd og veitingastað. Excellent and comfy beds, very clean rooms and the whole hotel. The view from the window was amazing. Close to the beach - about 10-15 minutes walking. Very friendly staff!
