Very nice and relaxed host. The house and the room felt like a home away from home. The breakfast was delicious and mostly homemade. Room and Bathroom were very clean and the bed was really comfy. It's really quiet and after a short drive you are close to everything you want.

Le Valley of the Waters B&B est situé au début de la forêt tropicale des Blue Mountains et de ses sentiers de randonnée en cascade, le long du parc national des Blue Mountains. Breakfast was really good and much needed on a cold winter morning! The portion was adequate as well. The host was thoughtful in including amenities needed for winter, such as an electric blanket, making the stay much more comfortable. The view from the balcony was amazing, with a clear view of the mountains and the stars at night. The room was also clean and spacious :)

Situé à 200 mètres de la gare de Katoomba, le Carrington Hotel vous propose des hébergements élégants dans un manoir rénové classé au patrimoine. Our two days in the Blue Mountains unfortunately fell victim to the Northeaster coming in - visibility was less than 100m, sometimes even the other side of the street seemed foggy and it rained cats and dogs. So we were very happy about this cozy hotel! It is historic and well-preserved (but of course with all modern amenities you need in the rooms). Fun to explore the different rooms, there's a nice bar and somewhere they have hidden away a brewery it seems. Oh, and the dining room... Great - had a good breakfast there (we had enjoyed dinner in the other brewery in town). The room was a bit smaller than expected, but for one night it was ok. It was quiet and we slept very well. There is a new parking garage next to the hotel - only disadvantage is, that you are exposed to the elements when you walk over there.

From the minute we arrived, we were so warmly greeted by staff and it was just fantastic til the moment we left! Old fashioned (but refurbished!) hotel right near the centre of town... five minutes walk if you take the pathway. The room was huge and fabulous! It even had a couch... Friendly and helpful staff Room was quiet Beds were so comfy No elevators but stairs are fine Dinner with a view and food was delicious and it was so nice just being able to walk up to your room after your meal... But we didn't - because there was also a proper bar with a proper piano man playing music all night long - so wonderful! We listened right to the end. We have never done this before and had no idea how enjoyable this can be. Lovely huge lounge Plenty of parking on site Competitive rates with the other properties in Katoomba - so happy we chose to stay here as was a just an all-round experience like what you see in the old movies!

L'Hotel Etico at Mount Victoria Manor est l'endroit où les vacances créent des opportunités. The manager, Lona went above and beyond by making sure we got a special meal mid-afternoon even when the kitchen was closed. Special thanks to the chef. She saved me at work by finding a spare mouse I could use. Super thankful. 5-star service all the way!
