The room was spotless and the beds the most comfortable ever. Breakfast outstanding with a very wide selection of foods on offer. Secure parking, great bars, stunning views….our idea of paradise! We have stayed here a few times before and standards only seem to improve.

Hotel Seabreeze is located in the heart of Nelson Bay, 3 minutes’ walk from a number of shops and restaurants. Port Stephens Visitor Centre is just 150 metres away. The room was big and the bathroom was enormous with twin sinks and a bath! The food and drinks downstairs was very good with very friendly staff.

Steps from the white sand and sparkling water of the beach, Ramada Resort by Wyndham Shoal Bay features well-furnished apartments. These non-serviced rooms offer spacious layouts, air-conditioning and seating and dining areas. Beautiful clean apartment overlooking seafront. Had everything we needed. Dishwasher and tumbledrier had problems but called maintenance who turned up within minutes and fixed them. Would recommend paying that litlle bit extra for the beachfront views. Wish we had booked for longer.

Oaks Port Stephens Pacific Blue Resort provides relaxing resort accommodation in Salamander Bay. It features a huge lagoon-style swimming pool, heated spa pools, a 25-metre heated lap pool and a fitness centre. The place looked amazing with the pool resort and restaurant in the complex. Everything was close, shopping mall, food and nelson bay only a 5min drive
