I loved the location because although it´s close to the centre and all the restaurants and shops, it is out of the way, so it was quite quiet even though it was a busy time of year. There is a very well equipped kitchen so you can make your own meals if you want to and the eating area is very pleasant.

Beautiful views, super friendly staff, great with English and just in general super helpful and kind people. The rooms were also very nice and clean and spacious with cozy balconies.

This guest house is on a quiet location, 500 metres from the island centre, where visitors find bars, restaurants and shops. Preta Beach and Poção Waterfall are 1,5 km away. I loved the staff, the breakfast, and the overall aesthetic of the place. Everyone that works here is so sweet and they do everything possible to make sure your stay is comfortable. I also like that they have 24 hour reception, and if you ever have a problem they are more than happy to help. It is also absolutely beautiful here.

Lovely room, lovely view, the staff were all so lovely and friendly. Beautiful breakfast, location was perfect, right on the beach. Very safe, you could still walk on the beach after dark even as a single woman. I certainly wouldn’t do that in central Rio de Janeiro. Ancoradouro was very central to the shops, the many restaurants and bars. It was sooo nice and peaceful and relaxing with plenty to do at the same time!!! Thank you so much
